Years ago my G/F got a call like that, from the Police. One of her sons and a friend of his broke through a school window and smashed all of the school's comupter's. Not good.

I got that phone call.
My 14 year old son got in a fight. He weighs 120 lbs and he beat up a kid that is about 2 inches taller and nearly 50 lbs heavier. He got a 5 day suspension as well.
He is a real mellow kid and it takes a lot to get him to fight. He's a brown belt in Tai Quan do and I think he's learned his "reservations" about fighting from taking the classes.

did the other kid get the same punishment? usually, they make examples out of both of them so there is no "he/she started it".

It was a couple of girls in there little click........ the sad part is , it was her best friend that narked her off.
Hava Al, thanks for the chile. But no thanks......... i kinda want to keep her around awhile ;D

Yup same punishment. I guess it's a mandatory 5 day suspension for both parties involved no matter who started it.
The bigger kid started it by pushing my son into a locker. I guess he thought he was an easy target. Not so east come to find out............... ;)

I took take-my-dough for 1 year, made brown moved on to judo, muai thai and jiu-jitsu. WAY more useful. You should have your kid get into one of those three. The other kid wouldn't have any marks on him as evidence, so as long as the staff didn't catch it, he's home free. Meanwhile the other kid is still feeling it for at least a week.
On top of it, you don't really have to remember all the forms like you did for Tae Kwon Do just to pass the test...
I was expelled in 7th grade for throwing a pencil at my teacher. It got stuck in his neck just to the left of his esophaugus. He had thrown his chalkboard eraser at me...

Have any of you saw the school bus fight on the news? The girls and the driver? now ya think someone should get Suspended? like the damn driver???? gggeeeessssssssssss Sav's kid get's 5 days for a little mistif and these girls get 5 days for a brawl.....what a joke
-
I would definitely fight that one 2Sav. Tell them they need to test every piece of gum that has been carelessly spit out on campus and suspend every one of those kids. That's B.S. Obviously she needs to have some form of punishment, I just don't think that warrants 5 days suspension especially considering all the stuff school administrators let slide on a daily basis.
I've been handcuffed to the chair that was bolted to the ground in the principals office time and again. Every time I got away with it one way or another. Even got away with pissing on one of the vice principal. On my senior prom night our buses were 2 hours late, during the waiting period they offered us drinks and snacks but would not allow us into the restrooms for fear of us gathering "drug paraphernalia" stashed in the bathrooms. Now the charter buses never show up, so the rattiest looking school buses of the 70's show up to take us. Our driver is high as F*CK on weed, looks like Jesus Christ, and has a temper. We are finally on our way to the Sony back lot (this is the first/last school dance I ever went to) and the drivers get lost. We're sitting outside a del taco in the middle of Compton or some shit and at this point we have all got to piss.
I ask the vice principal (who was allowed the use of a bathroom before we left school) if we can go to the restroom in the Del Taco. He declares that we can't for fear that we will, once again, gather drug paraphernalia. I tried to get off the bus and piss in the bushes right next to the bus. The bastard grabs me by the shoulders and tries to drag me back onto the bus, meanwhile all passengers on the three buses in our caravan are leaning out the windows watching. I got away from the fock and turned to piss on him since he so nicely decided it was his job to grab me while I was urinating. Next Monday at school of course the school deputy and the vice principal show up in my first classroom with a pair of handcuffs (at this point I have a Long history at this school, actually 3 times i was court mandated to anger management coaching). Without parental intervention I got out of that one because the ass hole touched me. They're not allowed to lay their hands on a student unless the student is committing and act of violence. They thought they were going to intimidate me into accepting expulsion 2 weeks before graduation. I graduated with a 4.0 and a behavioral record 6 pages long printed front and back. I'm not exactly proud of it but I only truly got in trouble once, that was the time I was expelled for throwing the pencil into the teachers neck.

IMO It's all part of the neutering of our country :-\
My son who was 5 at the time. Had issues with a bully at day care. I talked to them about it. Was told the other kid has been a constsant problem. Long story short. My son gives him a "tune up". They want to throw my son out for protecting himself!!?? The other parents thanked me..signed a petition he was allowed to stay. I left, but proved my piont. I tell my son to first tell the person what's gonna happen if they continue to push or bully him. Let em have it!!! I'll deal with the teachers ...he deals with the kids!!! >:D He's in 3rd grade now.
-
You've got to be careful with that... I've manipulated this area quite a bit. If he tells the kid what he's gonna do, then it's pre-meditated. You don't want that. You tell your kid to handle it on the spot or leave it alone entirely and refer it on to the "proper authorities." I don't believe in giving a warning, legally it's safer for you not to. If the person has pushed you that far where you feel the need to offer a warning then they already know what they're doing is wrong, that should be warning enough. At that point, if they were smart they should already be prepared for what's coming to them. Instead of teaching your kid to warn them. Teach him never to go out of his way to cause trouble, but if trouble comes to him, by all means let them have it.
-
He tells them, then handles it a couple seconds later. He's a happy playfull kid. The teachers tell me they wish they had a class full of him. He's just fearless and physical.

Warning, Thread Jack Ahead:
I was at the bowling alley last Sunday afternoon with friends and family, stupid punk ass kids (14,15) were srewing around on the lane next to us, I asked the kids to eithr bowl right or leave. The response I got was "You cant tell us what the flock to do"!
So being that my neice and my dad was there I decided to just get the little bastards kicked out(which I did) on there way out the past me and was talking crap so I endulged them a little(out of sight of the family), one of the lil bastards put his hand on my chest...my response was "take your hand off me, once again...TAKE YOUR F'in HAND OFF ME!
Needless to say when his friends picked him up off the floor....they left!
You warn them, period! Dont tell them whats going to happen, warn, then act! If the parents wont teach their kids a lesson..I will!

Nice work!! ;D
