Has anyone heard of a 1978 Tahiti runabout???
I can’t find any info. It has a panther jet. UGH.
Any info would be nice. Yes I know the panther is junk

A runabout is the style of boat (shallow V-bottom), not particular to any one brand.
Maybe do a search for old brochures or any of Old Riggers posts.
It looks like a splash of an Eliminator bubbledeck with some work done to the gunnels right at the front seats.
Tahiti made a decent boat and I think there might be an energizer kit for the Panther.
You won't set any speed records but, it'll get you on the water to have a good time.

Although I wasn't at Tahiti then (left in '74) that appears to be the Southwind bottom. Tahiti's splash of the Southward was called the Super Tiger. When they added the bubble deck that model was called the 18 Super Tiger Bubble.
