Title: Tested the Southwind 18 today... oficially a 60 MPH mouse.

GPS told us we have a 60.4 MPH small block powered Southwind with a very questionable tune... (Stupid me forgot my timing light)... :thumbdown:

The tach was all over the place, thinking either a bad tach, or the MSD was making it read wonky. Felt like a wee over 5K.

Berkeley 12JG, stuffed, shoed, plated with an aluminum CB..

I could not be more impressed with the little mouse that could. It feels like it has more. need to see where the timing is and maybe cut the impeller another half size to a C and we will have an honest 65+ small block jet.

In yo face haters.

I need to resize the pictures, but they're coming.

The thing sounds nasty. I did not get the video saved properly.. :thumbdown: :thumbdown:

BTW, that is a 750 double pumper on a Victor Jr. and I almost think it could use a wee bit more.

I am dying to put my headers on it, but pop's really like the old school '70's vibe... What can you do?

Unfortunately they are Upswept Borla muffler headers. He just gave me "the look" LOL... Besides, I am saving them for a project I have in mind this winter.. Or next winter LMAO.

I am keeping an eye out for a set of the small block Rewarder twisties... They are stupid rare used...

I have it in my mind that I may "sneak away" again next weekend if the weather holds out... Heard there is a chance of some weather coming our way..
