Your House of Representatives is voting on this issue today, if you care about your 4th Amendment rights you should pick up a phone and call your Rep. Easy look up tool is here:

Don't get me started on politics or I'm gonna get kicked outta here for sure.   :mad:

It is clear that the politician don't listen to the electorate anyway.  All they are concerned about is getting re-elected.  At this point all you can do is sit back and wait.   I suggest investing in lead and freeze dried food and join you local Tea Party.  Converting any excess paper into silver is good too.

I had a bit reticence over posting this here because it is a boat forum and political shit usually goes over like a fart in church, but in my view this is sort of a watershed event in terms of personal freedoms and civil liberties of American citizens, and citizens in general of the world (since we're spying on them as well).

And just FYI-this amendment was defeated by a very narrow vote, so I would still encourage people to contact their representatives and ask them why they think the violation of the 4th amendment rights to privacy aren't important to them.

This is a really sad day for America, this is sort of like the final nail in the coffin of freedom.
