I'm thinking of ditching the YZ250 for something like that. I'm not an old man, but DAMN the next day I'm sore... :D
-
That'd be a cool Glamis cruiser....Freakin' day, nite, rain sandstorm or shine! >:D
-
that is what i am thinking. i also have a yz250. love the two stroke.hahha keepin it real. if any of you guys go to glamis lets make a meeting. my first weekend is halloween. then pretty much every other weekend after that till easter then we start the river season.
we have a group of about 20 rvs for glamis with some HIGH dollar sand rails. if yo know what a double throwdown extreme is with the twin turbo LS1. then you know what kind of toys i am talking about... love the sand
-
also just found out it is a stock irs rear end and is ready for the 3x3 kit. i am still learning about bugs.

I would look int something like this they are alot of fun.
-
is it caged?
-
i had a 71 convertible, 1641dp lots of chrome, full cage, harnesses, high back buckets on sliders, extra buckets, extra harnesses, full set of desert tires and full set of paddles with front smoothies on polished wheels, ran great, lot of lighting for at night, sold it for 3300.00[attach=#]
just something for you to compare it to :)
-
ya that truck is nice. but about 60k over my budget. i am just looking for somthing to beat the crap out of.
yes it has a cage but the guy said the welds are not the prettiest. and that is fine with me i can weld. and he says the front end he has is off a class 16 race buggy and is worth about 2k. cause it comes with the breaks and extended arms. 4 inch..
anyway i am really looking into this. there seems to be a huge ammount of options for these things and migh be a fun project for a long time..
any more info would help
thanks guys.
-
we had a blast with ours, kinda sorry i sold it, i beat the shit out of it and it always came back for more, options are unlimited for them, you can even get a bolt on a-arm conversion kit for it, gives it about 13" travel, check out samba.com there are usually alot of them on there for sale, good price check, but the price doesn't sound bad to me at all, especially with the extra front end
-
do you know where you can get that front end conversion kit at.
-
try this http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=245455 it is a fiberglass buggy with the kit on it, still has a vw pan so mounting is the same
www.a-arms.com is the website listed
