Too close for comfort

Hey Brad I just got a real interesting closeup of you work on the Liquid Technologies boat. Freaking wild

I guess some of these ocean racers have a little trouble not hitting other boats too.

here is the story on that....

Jay Photoglou (Driver of the 375 Fountain) was squeezed right up against the spectators....the people recording were in a rubber dingy...jay did not see them until they were 10 off to his side...VERY close call. It could have been REAL ugly if they got hit.

This was recorded at the turn boat at catalina.

Apparently the turn boat was not in the correct location (via GPS) and the turn balloon was a nice off white on a gray day.  The two together made for a rough turn and several overshot it.  It's amazing nobody was hurt!
