  I was wondering if anyone has seen a set up like this before. I found this boat on e-bay. I think that it would be a lot of drag and slow the boat down alot, Nothing that good throtle control would solve.

A lot of guys running turbines use those badass satellite antenna motors, don't know why we went through so much effort though, looks over engineered and under functional

 The good ol spud gun. Two years ago at pismo we almost got took down down by the beach patrol. Instead he made us go find all shit we shoot out of it as he walk behind us with a flashlight. He did that for hours and then he drove behinds in his truck. That SOB had the biggest smile on his face too.
 POTATO GUNS + STARTING FLUID + 10 DRUNK 30 YEAR OLDS ( ACTING LIKE HE WERE STILL IN HIGH SCHOOL) WAS NO MATCH FOR THAT RANGER, WHEN HE TOLD US ( AT GUN POINT .. HE ALSO ASUMED WE WERE FIRING OFF GUNS) TO EAT THE F***ING SAND. PLUS WE WOULD HAVE TO CALL ARE WIVES AND GIRLFRIENDS TO DRIVE 3 HOURS TO POST BAIL...  AND YES WE WERE ALL HUNG OVER.. MAN, THAT NIGHT SUCKED.

Funny shit...We had our Spudzooka up the river in Ore. in a National wildlife preserve, when an Oregon State Trooper showed up and threatened to arrest us all for shooting poatoes across the river with a "pirotechnic device", then I told him it was powered with Co2 and had no fire involved he was super cool to us and I took a bunch of pictures of him shooting the spud gun across the river, good times.

BTW the pictures were in case he changed his mind later :sly:

Of course later that night we had a small campfire going and the Forestry service gave us a ticket for $250 for a non-permitted fire, can't win them all... ::)

He also said that is was great in low water leval, But I would rather coast in them areas not to intake sand and plants, I guess he would have to stand ther and untangle  the plant life than try to hold on and untagle it.

There were some guys in San Diego that got a bunch of cops pulling guns on them for a potato gun.  Ends up that it is not illegal to "fire" even in the city limits.  I of the guys did get arrested for public intox though...  had to find something after they made a big show and media showed up :screwy:
