Just a heads up to anyone on here that has a job that could take them into a rail yard. Keep your head on a swivel and always look out for yourself. A contractor was killed today in our San Bernardino yard, run over by a locomotive. I drive these beasts five days a week, 425k lbs, 4,400 hp and they are quiet and do NOT like to stop. At least three people messed up today including the contractor and he is now dead. If he kept and eye out he could be home right now even if the other two people still messed up. Just a word to the wise, I'd hate to hear of anything happen to anyone on here.
