i tried to cheat and during the preview of the next espisode i paused it just as everyone turned around to run. i couldnt see you or your dad in the crowd...it was a blur, couldnt make anyone out really.

i dont wish wrecking a car on anyone, but those evo guys had it coming....their egos were bigger then their driving ability.....and that always spells disaster.

It didn't show this on the show.... but He was asked to do "another take" after our challenge... just for better camera angles, etc. He did the whole challenge again, and then was doing it in reverse. He had too much speed carrying into the corner, and then over corrected.... and hit a curb about 2" tall, that slowly tapered up to about 2' tall.... So he went all spanky spangler style and rolled it twice.
2.73:1 Gears, 4 speed, 600lbs of torque, and 6" wide street tires= driving on ice... But he owned it and we did what we could to try and get it on the road the next day. The front end was 3" over to the left, and rear end broke the dowel pins on the leaf springs, EVERY panel was tweaked, firewall seperated, front suspension bent, all glass broke.... we'll see next episode what happens ;D

Nope.... you go onto Bullrun and pretty much risk everything... we signed the contracts, and it wasn't their fault it was rolled, it was driver error.... But since the end of filming my father has bought 6 more Darts LOL

they should atleast help out since it was the show that asked for better angles...I understand the contracts its just crap!

fuk tony...i just watched the show had it dvr'd...wow..my heart is still pounding....sorry to both crews...evo and dart...now i know why you couldnt bring it to the premire....hope all turns out well in the end good luck team dart always rooting for you guys!!

what kinda irks me about the whole deal is how they spun it that your dad was acting a fool off the course and wrecked it on his own.
they had footage of him rolling it obviously if they were re-running the course for more angels, but refused to show it because it would have made the show look guilty because he crashed his car for something completely unnessesary. i hope you and your dad (and the rest of the cast) are able to get it back on the road for the next episode.
hats off to the rest of the cast for jumping in and helping out. ...kinda felt SCJB-ish. 8)

I was wondering, with all the cameras rolling all the time, everything being filmed, how they only had a few blurry STILL shots of the roll over, not video. Obviously they were filming otherwise they wouldn't have been able to grab the still shots.
If they showed the video - it would have shown he was not doing the course the way it was intended.

Everbody has played in the dirt at one time or another , and you never know whats going to happen at any given moment. But shit does happen!
And what got me and the ole lady last night is seeing Tonys dad up there in front of everyone in or almost in tears :'(

Wow, very observant indeed ;) Yea he was running the course again for some better angles.... then one thing led to another and OOPS.... Shit happens man, gotta move on....
The show is "finally" starting to get cool...

I was wondering why after he rolled it and you were in the shot right afterwards, why you were already out of your orange drabs... That explains it. That also explains why he said, "I'm gonna go do it again."
Team Evo definitely had it coming to them. Anxious to see the rest of the show and can't wait to know if the Dart was resurected or not. Gnarly!

is there any where i can see this. i have tried to watch this show but i missed last thursday. anyone have a portion of it to put on utube or something.
tony and paul i haven`t seen the episode where you apparently crashed it but at least you are both ok and not any serious injuries. good luck on the rest of the show guys.

yeah, it sucked that team avalanch's plan to knock out team solstice backfired on them

I was really hoping team solstice would lose , but with the cars they had to run i knew they would be a contender.... I hated seeing team camaro leaving the show :'(
But on a good note, team Corvette is still there (for now atleast ???) and those phukin guys are hilariouse (sp)
Team Avalanch needs to go next, their heads are getting a lil too big :sly:

Well pretty much every place we stopped at night, we brough 40+ people with us to the bar.... including cast and production crew... so needless to say they were making 1000's of dollars every night off of us. The night we arrived in Roswell we hit up the hotel bar, where the bartender was HORRIBLE.... I would stand at a non-busy bar for 15 minutes trying to get a drink... and I thought leaving a 10 dollar tip at one time would get me one faster.... nope. So after about 1am I went to bed while the Avi guys stayed up. I guess they were bitching about the service, and the owner told him he was calling the cops.... nothing physical at all. So while the cops arrived Bear from Avi was still running his mouth, and the police Arrested him right there on the spot. I'm not sure what happened with the Charges. Bear was bailed out and we went on with the show. The next night we said "screw that bar" and we tried a couple others in Roswell.... needless to say the other bars didn't like us arriving with 12+ people in mini-vans ;D And they wouldn't let us in.... So we ended up just buying a grip of boos and partying in the hotel lobby all night... with the hotel bar about 30 feet away, loosing ALOT of money they could have had by us LOL
