Gotta love 'em! I was at work yesterday and my shoulder "popped" no big, I'm old, shit happens. Got up today, shoulder is no bueno, go to work, pain is worse, fack it, I'm going to the doc. Turns out the shoulder I had surgery on 4 years ago is on the fritz again! Hopefully it'll heal itself without surgery, or they'll wait til after Blythe to surger. On the upside, I have some really nice pain meds and muscle relaxers now....................

My wife is now about 8 weeks post-surgery for rotator cuff work. She is a long way from being "right" and most people who have had it done say it will never be really OK. Hope you heal completely Skip. Maybe I'll see you in Blythe, but I still don't know if we can make it down that weekend.

I hate hearing this kind of stuff, because I'm older than a lot of you guys and it just makes me wonder whats in store for me :o

I kinda know how painful that can be, Skipper. Already toad you this, but my buds a drummer and had the same damn thing happen. He was miserable for months before he finally got something done. Still not even 85% with it, but you're not a drummer either, lol.
I Guess it hurts like hell!
The meds sound like fun though! I especially like the ones that say "Don't take with alcohol". Sounds like a dare to me!

Hope you get better, been through some shoulder issues. I got lucky and cortisone shot healed mine up. But it wasn't a major tear. Enjoy the meds, especially (as Ray said) the ones that say don't take with alcohol!!! ;D

Hows the shoulder doing Skip.
Went in and got one of those cortisone shots in my shoulder today. Never had one before, what difference, much better range, but still hurts if I left anything over my shoulder.
Leaving on an Alaskin cruise on sat., need to get limbered up a little. Got a Harley ride set up when we get to Ketchikan, don't want to be hurting for that.
When you see the Doc, take what ever he'll give you and ask for more.
Remember the ol saying DON'T HIDE THEM, DIVIDE THEM, you'll even more friends to hang out with at Blythe.

Shoulder's doing about the same as it was, and I didn't even use the damn thing today. I'm hoping for a cortisone shot & a quick heal, I really don't want to go through another f-ing surgery and the follow up PT. Ron are you going to make it to Blythe?
