Wow, after all that history you dug up on it...  I hope the new owner is going to continue the restoration back to original.

Don't worry, the Raspberry will be well taken care of and its history respected. Its not the end of the story, just another begining.  Brad took a boat that could have very easily been cut up and dumped, and found a peice of jet boat history. He could of sanded right thruogh those names that were under 7 layers of paint, but he took the time to post them. Who would have guessed what would happen after that. Thank you Brad for all your time and effort. This boat will be restored back to way it was in its glory days. This is going to sound corny, but I have a special place in my heart for these boats, and plan on collecting and restoring 3 or 4 of Roger's different models. The Raspberry will have a good home and wont hate you Brad.   Thanks again.  Ron

I know the raspberry went to the best home it could....even better then what I could provide it. I honestly don't have the time or money to give it the justice it deserves.

I wouldn't have sold this boat to just anyone and I never advertised it publicly. Actually, Ron came to me asking "what are you going to do with it now you have the liberty".....and followed it by "if you do ever decide to sell it, let me know"....after I hung up on the phone I sat there and thought about it long and hard. It was one of the tougher decisions I have made in a long time.

My attention is now on the liberty and probably always will be and the raspberry would sit and be forgotten about.....I am glad I got a chance to sell it to someone who is just as excited about it and its history as I am and has every good intention of it as I ever did.....instead of someone painting flames on it again.

Along with the ras, Ron got the oil painting, a ton of pictures on CD (old originals and of the project build), the old registration from '75, and some random rootin tootin rasberry nick nacks ive collected off ebay.

It went to a great home and is still within the SCJB family. It will ride again someday soon.

Good luck the Ras. Ron. I know you will bring back to life. I say you put all those other projects on hold and start this one ;D I think you need to change your name Mr. Roger's.

At first I couldnt believe what I was reading when Brad told me in chat . When you told me Ron made you an offer , it was like new hope . A restoration like this is a huge undertaking and if anyone could do it justice , it's Ron . Congratulations Ron and my excitment for the Ras has grown .
