Title: Trailer tongue and electrical
Post by: UNDONE on February 20, 2008, 05:59:33 PM
I don't remember who, but someone was asking how my folding trailer tongue worked...

Does anyone have a wiring diagram handy for a trailer? I have the 7 pin adapter on the truck into the 4 pin harness on the trailer. Please help, only my running lights work...

Here's the tongue.

You should be able to get an adapter to go from the rv 7 wire to a flat 4 connector from PepBoys or Kragen.  I bought my from Chevrolet pt# 12463554

I know I have a schematic for the 7 wire at work that I can get for you tomorrow.

PM a fax # and I'll send it over or I can try to get it up here tomorrow night.
