Title: twin pumps?
Post by: Wayne Zighter on April 26, 2014, 01:21:23 PM
following a really nice ultra on the I8 yesterday and noticed the dual pumps, my first thought was twin motors untill I saw the transom exhaust, one on each side of the pumps. so my question is what exactly is going on here.

there was a dual jet for sale on one of the forums a while back.  Drive shaft hooks up to pump then looked like it went into some sort of gear drive set up

Here's a couple more threads about them.

The article HotBoat did on them was real good.
