For some unknown reason maybe boredom I tried to help someone out on fix. May not been the proper way to do it but he wasn't willing to take the proper steps he need to. I'm beginning to think I have too much time on my hands. So feel free to smack me upside the head(just kidding) but you won't see me any of the other pissing contest sites. You know the ones no need to name them. WTF was I thinking?

So true!!! I always get in trouble when I'm bored. Maybe I should go polish something. I couldn't figure out how to delete my accounts over there so I just deleted Tapatalk instead good enough for me.

I couldn't agree more... Last time I replied to a post all I got was insults. I didn't know discussion meant insult someone you don't know.

That's going to take a little or a lot of convincing as far as the wife goes. Maybe if she see us going at it this weekend she might be more accepting of the idea. For the mean time I'm good with helping out on your ride. I can't get enough of that stuff.

Do it !!! Pull the trigger buy a jet and keep the wacker too. You can never own too many boats. I have a little I/O family boat that we take out on the lake when the waters rough.

When we were at McIntyre a few weeks ago a nice gentleman had a beautiful all red early 80 ' s Liberty with a 460. It was love at first sight. That thing was a beast.

Nope, it was bright red with no accents or stickers. 460 twin carbs on a high rise Weiand manifold, dominator pump, OT bassets, and a place diverter I think.

He was on pb someone stripped a bolt that holds the valve body to the trans, op put they would like to fix it the right way but didn't want to re pull the valve body. Maloney suggested using a metric bolts instead of standard or to just leave the bolt out, then when people disagreed with him he told them they don't know shit about transmissions and it went south from there lol. That's the short version.
-
It's funny, I went over and read that after he started this thread. Wanted to do it right but didn't want to pull the valve body so right away he was already on his way to doing a hack job. But I will say putting a metric bolt in there was by far better than what the guy ended up doing. Jb welding a stud in it instead.
