I was around before they had armore all and all that stuff, with two older bros. We used to use brake fluid, gas whatever. They even had this stuff called "Tire Black" where you acualy painted the tires. Alot of guys used this shit to lose the white , This was before raised white letters too, if you wanted white letters, or red or whatever, you had to paint them. My Bro worked in a machine shop and got some silicone spray which I used on the bike tires.
