Hello all,
Long time lurker, first time poster. I'm back in the socal area after being gone for a few years. Getting back in to boating, but have been gone long enough for places and rules to change quite a bit. I've got a week off coming up and I'm looking for somewhere fun to take the boat and do some skiing. I'd love to find a place to either camp or stay in a hotel with a dock, slip, or beach to park on. I practically grew up at canyon, naci, mead, powell, mohave, and shasta. Other than that I'm limited on my knowledge of local lakes.
Anyone have any suggestions?

You might enjoy the Parker Strip (great water during the week, weekends will be worse). The Blue Water Hotel/Casino has a nice launch ramp and plenty of slip spaces available.
Welcome to SCJB ;D

Parker is nice, Havasu during the week isn't too bad.
Millerton (out side of Frenso) is pretty nice! Camping, no slips or docks though.
Mohave is cool, but mostly cove camping without months in advice notice. Haha

Big bend parker...760-663-3755 They have a cheapo 7 unit complex right on the bluff and trailers on the water. You can either leave your boat at the dock/trailer....
