What's your plans for the motor? Bore, stroke, heads, pistons, dual carb or single. There is a lot to take into consideration when choosing a cam. For starters you need to know what RPM's you want to run? What's done to your pump? You get the point. More info would help us help you.

How much of the efi stuff do you have? May be able to do some precision swappin'.

If its a Gen VI (6), It should be a roller cam, or at least set up for a GM factory roller cam, that's the best cam. (maybe not the best profile)
Probably peanut port heads, but should be able to pull ~4600-4800 rpm with an 'A' impeller in a Berk on a mostly stock 454.

Heads, intake & carb, exhaust system, comp. ratio, among other things will factor in on cam choice, or use a dart board.
