When you're pulling that boat/trailer in the right lane, no one will see the SCJB.com sticker;
it needs to go on the left fender.  :-\
Nice boat.

Ralph,
I just picked up this boat the weekend before Memorial Day.  Did some quick repairs and took it to Parker.  So far I've got 51.6mph on the GPS but I've found several things that will help.  It does have a ride plate that I have been told is set way to far down.  I have since brought it up to be level with the bottom of the hull.  It has a pair of holley 600cfm vacuum secondary carbs with the secondaries made mechanical (screw in linkage).  From the plug readings I got it is runnig rich.  Timing is at 30 @ 3000rpm.  I'm going to rebuild the carbs and put them back to the vacuum secondaries (which should help), and play with timing a little.  I'll be back at the river the weekend before the 4th of July.

I love the interior on yours, it really looks great in the pictures.

Thanks, Keith

Here are a couple pictures of the ride plate and the shifter.  Someone installed a flip over gate to lock the shifter in neutral.

Big aluminum foot rest bolted through the stringer.  The problem is I think the previous owner must of been about 6'5" or more because I was nearly straight legged to reach the throttle pedal and foot rest.  I've moved the throttle pedal back already but haven't messed with the rest.

After buying the boat I can't afford to put fuel in it, much less buy new shoes.  I thought about screwing a 2x4 to the pedal but...
