My boat motor 455 olds it has an Fa on the timing housing witch tells me poss marine block freind has a set of wa heads asked if i wanted cant stop thinking about it

chain had maybe 8 rides on it! cost me a case....the pictures arent exactly clear, but i layed the bike on the side, and definately an oil leak

Have the case welded. That what I did on my 87 CR500. Caught a rock, busted out 2" diameter hole. Welded patch on, no leaks. Went out and bought skid plate after that though.

Did the same thing on my 03 cr250 jb weld did the trick. I road it on that for 2 years with no problems. Just make sure the surface is clean and grind out the crack with a dy grinder and cake it on done deal.

Did it break or crack the cases? That's why I only run sidewinder chains... and a case saver. If no one buys it hit me up, we can get that thing goin

i know i can jb weld it and it will be fine, but me being me i want new cases and new bearings...redo the top end since its all original....yadda yadda ya, but honestly someone coulb buy this bike jb weld it, new chain and off you go....the chain that went was a D.I.D. gold series o-oring chain....i just started the bike and it's a spewer, but it's only a hair line crack....judging from the pics and last i checked i had a high dollar fastaway case saver on there....honestly all it did was save my leg, and i am ok with that....this thing has been stupid reliable, and just read an article on the 426's being the most reliable 4 stroke out there, and lemme tell you...i concure....it's going to break my heart to see this bike go....tons and tons of memories, but it's time to step up....this bike has been absolutely babied since day one with no expenses ever spared....the bike has one hour on new oil change with amsoil....yeah bike has been raced, but oh well....i should just fix it and hang it from the ceiling!

I am however off to the hot tub with some Pepsi (and an equal part JD) Nite nite ladies. That's what I'm thinking right now.
