Picked the 660's up from c&j today. Haven't got a chance to run em but John sure can polish a turd. They look Bitchin. Changed quite a bit around internally also and I thought they ran Bitchin before so well see

Got the alternator somewhat mocked up and finished my exhuast system.  So close to summer I'm feeling the pressure to finish! !

Got some tunes now. Found a great upholstery guy in San Bernardino,  did a great job for a great price

Where are you mounting that? Bulkhead?

Yes it's my old bulkhead. I just cut the holes out and had it recovered.

It'll go in between the seats in front of the motor.

That's really nice I like it.  Do you have anything protecting it in the back? I'd be afraid of a losing a belt and damaging the wiring and head unit.  I've been trying to decide how I was going to do my stereo.

But the wiring is all loomed, and tightened up to the back.

Planning to try to box it in, but don't have the boat here to mock it all up.

I also run a serpentine belt, so they seem to be a tad bit stronger

Ah I've wanted to go to a serpentine belt maybe when I rebuild the motor next year I'll add it in. 

That's why I was thinking about doing it on the Bulkhead and leaving it under dash.  Kinda amplifys it and gives it some bass. 

Some tunes are better than none tho.  I'm using a boom box with like 8 c batteries.  Getting real tired of buying batteries lol

Yeah I'd like to put it under the bow,  but my fat ass doesn't fit under there.

Here it'll work, looks decent,  and with some decent speakers (not these) should sound good enough.

My boat is so damn loud that it would take a very serious system to be able to hear it.  It'll work for the beach or the storage unit when cleaning it up.

Yeah I'll only be listening while beached I'm about to install dry headers.  I don't use the radio or cds.  I have all my music on my phone so a long Aux cable and a remote for the radio should work well.  Or even better a Bluetooth stereo.

I bought this pioneer head unit from Walmart for 49.00 on clearance. It's a Bluetooth unit,  and came with the 4 speakers you see there. Left over Christmas special.

I wanted something Bluetooth or I can plug an aux cord, SD card.

Another option is getting a digital media receiver.  They don't have a cd player and are pretty cheap.  Also is a little bit shorter than a regular din unit.

That's a dam good deal.  I would have grabbed that if I had seen it.  I'll have to keep an eye out on clearance stuff.

It should be good but it never hurts to check them yourself. He did the carb in my Hallett in the beginning of last season and the floats were perfect when I put it on and checked it with the boat in the water.
