They were the original chrome too to answer your question.


Looking to get the boat fired up this weekend possibly and test at Elsinore after I title and insure it this week hopefully. Anyone plan to be there in the next couple of weekends?
Never driven the boat nor do I know what to look for in handling characteristics.

Wouldn't mind the expert advice from any of you local guys.

Was hoping to go the Elsinore tomorrow but need to change a few fittings that are leaking and I need to rebuild my tach this thing revd to 7k   I really need to keep this throttle excitement to a minimum.

Been building my new motor for the passed 8 months, feels good to have it all finished after all the set backs. All that's left is to time her and go break the ole girl in. Full roller 460 bored .20 over.
