Haven't done anything to it,yet,

but I'm waiting on it. My brother went to Gilbert Arizona to pick it up for me. He says it's beautiful boat. 20.5 Carrera w/ MerCruiser outdrive. That's my next lake rod. We'll see.

Pulled my motor to replace the u joints. I have never pulled a motor before so it was a great learning experience. Amd went pretty quick and smoothly. Hope it goes back in as smoothly and hoping to get it put back in tomorrow

That's one of the reasons I love jet boats the ease of pulling and installing motors. Replaced flexplate and starter.

Out with the old... In with the new...

After watching the video Brian Forester sent me of my starting line performance, the wasted motions and time killed with the cable fwd/rev... Air operated became an apparent must. Plus adding a couple bleed holes to be able to adjust to keep the boat from going backwards.

My buddy did the bunks on my boat. They needed to be moved to fit my trailer better. It was originally for a real flat jet boat. So had to raise the bunks up. We moved them out some also. Fitted them really nice and got done and one of the bunks didn't touch in the back left it touched on the front of that same bunk. We're going to make a taller bracket for that one spot.

Took it out Saturday, beautiful day, water was perfect, a had no problems after new suction housing, pump rebuild and a few more degrees of wedge. It ran 68mph at 4000 ft elevation. It was a good weekend
