Haven't had a lot of time to work on it lately, but this weekend I put on new carb and air cleaner. Turned out to still be too tall for the scoop.added 1.75 inches in height to the scoop, filled it with fibreglass, started working it into shape. I actually think it looks better. Lol.

Thank you. This forum has been a huge help, I've learned that it pays to look at every detail and do it right before I get ahead of myself. Lol. I intended to get her in the water this year, and as much as I was bumming out that I didn't get more done this year, I have resolved to have it almost perfect before I try running this boat. Less embarrassing that way.

Got my engine control module board done today, now I have to decide if I am going to leave it wood grain, or paint it white to match the rest of the interior. Anyone want to weigh in with an opinion? I will be mounting the ignition box, solenoid, and resistor block on it.

Cleaned up wires, new throttle and diverter cables, adjusted valves, cut the bells of headers. And tonight it goes on the back of the motorhome. Parker bound tomorrow

Seeing what hell went wrong on the BBC 496. Only 5 trip on her. Brand new scat stroker crank, scat I beam rods, icon forged Pistons, ARP everything and was balanced. Was turning only 4000 rpms and big pop. Sent us into the toollies at 40mph. Everyone is fine. Pulled the valve cover and all looks tight. I can't imagine what went wrong. Cylinder #2 is the only damage I can see with a snake camera. Time to Tear her down and build it stronger.
