That's bitchen, good to see you get rid of the that brass strut, brass hardware has no place on a blown flatly, 👍👍👍

Ya,,  I know thats been a concern, and now seeing the steel strut next to the brass,  holy shit.....  Funny tho I've been watching this strut for awhile waiting for the price to drop so I could snag it.. It came out of the old LIFTED250 camp.  Not sure if he still works for ron in the hi dez or not,  but it came from cool parts on eBay..  Guy has a lot of vdrive n jet parts,, been to his pad more than once. NOW I HAVE TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO GET IT UNDER THE BOAT!!!  lmfao..  It has alil less degree then what's on it now..  Im probably gonna have to move some stuff around,  witch is OK cuz the boat is still pretty pissed off about having a blower on it!!!  Lmfao

Gutted the interior. Dropping the seats off to have them redone on Monday, and scrubbing the hull next weekend.

Yeah... she's been kinda shabby for a while. Dewey got the motor... needed to cover that hospital bill... I'll stuff something together with shit I got kicking around to get my through the season or snatch the 427 out of my Chevelle for the time being... you never know... just depends on how much time I have and what loot looks like after the purdy up process... I'm not expecting it to be a very large budget left...😂

Test fit the motor with the new mock up plates and rails, wanted to make sure everything looks good since I rigged the boat using solid works on the computer. Everything worked out perfect and now to pull everything out to finish machining the rails and backing plates and have the motor plates machined.

Rebuilding my 460. Heads and oil pan removed. Engine looks clean for 35 years old and never opened up. I can still see some cross hatching in the cylinders. Water jackets were pretty bad and lots of sand in the block.

Spent some time measuring my camshaft, developing a game plan for my timing strategy for my dyno session and started looking at rocker geometry.  I rigged up two dial indicators to simultaneously measure tappet lift and valve lift.
