Title: what do you guys know about the 22 ft placecraft deck

i am going to look at one on sat. it is an out drive with a 496. it is a 2006 in great condition at a great price. i was just wondering what you guys know about the hull. i still want to be able to go to the river. and i realize i will have to be a little more carefull but i also want to hit havasu and mead.

My buddy has one, loves it, 572 w/ jet runs real good. The problem I heard about on the IO's is porpoising,just what I've heard?

I've got a buddy in Bluewater Lagoon with an Ultra shadow deck jet, 496.....................the ONLY thing I didn't like was the low freeboard. The placecraft seems to have a bit more. My next boat WILL be a placecraft deck with a jet :) I looked at the placecraft's a few years back, sharp lookin boat, love the lines to it.
