Zach Brown band, Chicken fried, toes.
I'm on a boat.
Rockin the beer gut
all summer long
red neck yacht club
some booty shakin stuff like Lady Gaga, thats to get the girls dacin. It works!!
Gotta have some MJ.
-
Since I have the stereo up and bumping again,
Anything Top 40 will get the ladies (and Tony, Dan and Myself) up and dancing.
I also agree that I'm On a Boat should be played EVERY time you launch your boat.
Not a HUGE country fan but, the Zac Brown band songs are all good for river drinking. Seems the whole album is dedicated to singing about people like us.
I know it sounds crazy but, the chicks dig some old school Prince. It will get them going.
Also some Old Snoop, Dre and 50. I'm tellin you it works to get the crowd going.

I have a jet boat. The motor is to loud. My playlist is what the goof-ball who spent more on his stereo than I did on my boat is listening to. LOL I still get more attention that those silly wakeboard boats.

Been bangin away on Chickenfoot myself for the last month or so, so I'm no help! (takes awhile to appreciate their stuff).
Can't hear anything on my boat including the plea's to stop! So river dance or river music is not my thing, y'know?
Once I get a cruiser that I KEEP (And not burn, or sell), maybe I can appreciate this, lmao.

700 Blue Oval HP is my song of choice
-
I'm with the other guys when it comes to hearing my tunes while cruising. The motor is too loud...but when i park it and chill on the sand bar, I bust out the iPod player.
I like Tom Petty, The Allman Brothers, Bad Company, The Rolling Stones, ect....
I guess you could say I'm a classic rock kinda guy.
-
I can hear the tunes in my boat and I just have 2 6x9 and 2 6" and a be player that I can plug the iPod into. Although my boat has a cover over the motor and is a cruiser.

We do Seether, Linkin Park, Pantera, Korn. Then to get my wife dancing its Timbaland or Flo Rider. You can never go wrong with Bob Marley. 4 6x9's n a small 4 channel amp plugged into n ipod does the trick. You can hear it even when the motor is runnin if you pay close enough attention.
-
We park the pontoon boat next to the jet boat, and bust out XM 53, the Boneyard, or XM 41, Hair nation........
-
Thats when the Jet Boat is running...............
-
Apparently not our (at least my) kinda jet boat, lol.
If you can hear chit clearly on a stereo, anywhere, near one of my boats while cruising, then either I am not doing sumpin right, you've got more RMS power than god, or I am simply deaf! :sly:
Not that the latter is out of the question, mind you! At idle maybe, but beyond that.........ask Nordie!

I play that too. Seems the peeps behind me listen to that alot too!! ;D
-
well im rockin a small block w/ thru transoms and only a head unit with 2 6x9's and I can hear it just fine under power but turn it off but gotta have the tunes on the beach or floating doown river. the bow becomes a dance floor and it makes t tha much more fun.
-
I'm on a motherf'n boat
Seriously, Korn, metallica, megadeth, lady gaga, flo rida, and snoop.
-
You guys that don't have radios are getting your feelings hurt to easy. There is no way I can hear my radio while I am rollin full throttle (about 56 MPH, just a little faster than Aquaholic) up and down the river. It is essential for the booze cruise back to camp, the party at dog island and when the women get all fired up. I like the sound of Horsepower of course but, there is nothing wrong with a chick in a Bikini dancing around on the front of your boat either.............. just sayin'
-
Naw, no feelings hurt, lol. Don't see the sense in it in mine. (Already had battery issues once, don't press it!). >:D
Actually one was planned out for the Beezer before the, well, you know.......flamer incident.........thank goodness we didn't, else that'd be something ELSE I own at the bottom of Saguaro lake! LMAO.
Seems to me there's always someone else jammin tunes, and the kids have their Ipods ready to dock them in whomever's stereo.

Nobody gets hurt UNLESS they start dancing on the front of my boat. The ladies know that the dirty dancing needs to take place below deck. Ya know -- on top of the mattress and below the shag carpet and mirror ball LOL.
XM/Sirius is how I roll. The playlist is always changing but The Boneyard and a few blues and reggae stations are all in rotation.

OMG! My favorite place to dance would be on the bow..intoxicated bow dancing is what I would sum up as a "good time".. ;D

Allright boys!!! I think our site has an official "Den Mother"!!! Thanks Mrs Ganz, I think we're going to like you!! :o

My dash is too pretty as it is and I do not want to cut a hole in it for radio that is the main reason i do not have one. There are enough people around with radios while hanging out on the beach or at the local sandbar.
