kind of looks like what happened to a guy i think it was in texas. he hit a sand bar and tore a hole in the bottom of the boat. needless to say a little more water then the bilge pump could handle.
he was lucky in that he was able to get close to shore before it sank. he was also lucky that there were a bunch of the the texas hot boats guys there.
they all joined in together and helped this guy out. they got the trailer and they picked up,pulled it on the trailer.

I carry a 1500GPH 12V bilge pump with a 10' hose and battery clips and a 20' length wire lead in my tool box. Only needed it twice and not for my boat, works like a champ and saved someones weekend two different times. It would have that boat floating normal in about 15 min.

we got caught in a night storm on lake mojave one night...needless to say we watched my buddies boat fill up with water...came out the next morning and the seats got nocked out of it and it cracked the floor so we all grabbed coffee cans battery box lids and what not...we had the boat drained out in 30 minutes...we then pulled all the plugs spun the motor over and spit all the water out of the cylinders...with the drain plug still in the boat of course we drained the oil into thebilge put new shit in it...i think we put some drops in the cylinders too...fired it up and drove it back to the marina...that motor is actually in my rayson craft now

I've heard of people pulling bilge plugs and that will do it to a boat. Looks like a crappy situation to be in, fortunately not to deep of water though.
