4th of July Weekend

Hey yall....first off like to thank everyone that took pics and posted them on facebook for the fathers day event of us pulling the boat with my ST....anyways we are going to the delta next weekend staying at Snug Harbor in Walnut Grove...if anyone gonna be up there stop by @ Fordlover dont you live up that way??? Never met but welcome to come by... We gonna run the delta loop may have to go the back way up and around if its windy by rio vista....anyways there is 1 cabin left there for the weekend @ mahony.2469 and mscatena .... We will post pics of the trip

Appreciate the offer bud. That is about an hour from my house. But think my wife has our 4th weekend loaded up with camping, BBQ and swimming.

Well we ain’t waiting till tomorrow…. We are headed out for the delta…won’t get there till close to 1230am but at least we will have all weekend there

Well we made it just cracked open a beer….had to go all the way around islands and bridges because the ferry was out of order…. Gezz they need a app for that hahaha

We camped at sugar barge last fall. Pretty cool place. Make sure you eat on the second story/deck. Cool views up there but a bit windy.

So we were out for on the water and had noticed I was leaking a little oil from my 3 oil gauges… so I was working on it and the brass pipe broke in the block…. So I met a guy the is a retired engine machinist that is from Michigan that was a alpaca farmer in Arizona that had a ez out so did the quick fix and back in the water

Well we are back to rio vista the slough that goes from the end of 3 mile slough is leveed off and had 4 ft white caps it was brutal… should of just went up and around down Georgian slough we already gone thru 80$ in gas…. We gonna head back up towards steamboat slough and check out hogback later on

Here some my pics…. We were running hard…. It was so rough out in big break my water lines loosened on the headers… next time gonna stay out the main channel and stick to the sloughs like I normally do… just had to get the crazy mission out my system it was super fun… waves were everywhere… so got on it it and trimmed the diverter and just blasted

Well we just made it home what a trip…time to change the oil tighten everything up because I thought my boat was a offshore racer ( got that out my system after what we went thru I know without a doubt I can make it to the Catalina islands) and get some new plug wires and be ready to rock next weekend… I just have to say I was gonna n the throttle in the olds and it took it… it has treated me so good this winter I think I’m gonna have it freshened up so I’m t will continue to be a good reliable way 455
