So where does everyone store their boats? During season or off season, if different. And what do you pay to store it there? I'm looking for a place to keep my boat.
Oh, and I live in Placentia/Fullerton and would like to keep it close as possible.
-
Durring the season my boat lives in my driveway(got a big one) in the offseason it stays on my sideyard. Sorry I'm of no help
-
like him ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ im no help
they stay in a car port in my back yard
-
Like these 2 guys^^^^^^^^^ mine in the driveway, big driveway, under a 10 X 20 canopy. My old 5th wheel is at public storage. First month free and now charging me 78 bucks a month. It's a 26 foot trailer, so a boat would prolly be cheaper
-
Whats "off-season"???? :screwy:

**Got room for one more. Haha

Yeah I do.....But I gotta get Sergio to get his Rickshaw outta my side yard before I can pull it into the drive way to get real serious on it.
How'd those vents work? same as you had?
But yeah, same as these guys, drop it in the side yard, armor all the hell outta the upholstery and tires, jack it up, lift the front as high as it will go, drain the fuel, spray some Marvel Mystery oil in it while running the carb dry, drain the block, cover it, and leave it alone. I also put a solar battery maintainer on it, but most pull it and put it in the garage. ;)

before i sold the jet boat, it was in the driveway and new boat in the garage.
since buying a fj40 project and needing the garage to do work on it, the new boat stayed in a 25' deep indoor storage unit. the unit cost was 1st month 1/2 off and 265.00 from then on so it only stayed for 3 months then off to work like "ka0tyk"! dude you can fit about 14 jet boats in our "unused" part of the building. i can't leave it for any length of time because our corporate guys wouldn't like it (they're trying to sub-lease it) :banghead:
but once i could roll the fj back outside the new boat went back into the garage.

got room in bullhead city around the corner from lazy harrys
-
wow. for what you guys pay for storage you could have a spot on the river. I only pay 260/month at mcintyre and it holds my new boat and you get the 5th wheel and the shed and a tax write off. lol..
-
Yeah, no crap... I had a spot lined up at my grandmas park that was only going to be $30. But some stuff went down and it doesn't look like it's going to happen. So now I'm kind of scrambling. But that spot in Perris sounds sweet. I might just try to convince my dad he needs to store his inside and split the spot.
-
I live in fullerton and I keep my boat in brea. It's off lambert and berry. I have a 45 foot spot in a secured area with 24/7 access with security. I pay 150 a month. I keep boat my boat and sandcar trailer there. I foun them on craigslist. I'm not sure of the name because it's a guy who bought a big ass building with parking, then turned it into an indoor and outdoor storage. Mine is outdoor.

Beav I keep my 5th wheel at the public storage at Lambert and Harbor, secure, outside, 78 bucks a month. The first month free
-
I saw that one but I need 2 spots. 45' is like 200 over there. If I was just storing the boat/sandcar at a time that would be great
