Title: where would you buy on the riveer?
Post by: farmergord on September 09, 2011, 10:22:11 PM
if you guys had a choice of locations on the river where would you buy a place. I love all the places ive been so far but i like the water temp further south.the trouble is I dont  know the river all that well. I want a place right on the river and prefer deeded land.also it has to be a house and shoulds have a garage for toys

I thought about buying for a while, but the good quiet areas are all Indian land.  We decided to put a nice trailer on a spot at the BR rv park for $325/month for the summer and rent a garage to store all the toys.  When the Indians flip out; we'll hook it up and drag it someplace else.  Garages are about $100/month.  We rent the spot for 5 months outta the year and store the trailer for $30/month the rest of the year.  As far away as you are, that might be the best bet for enjoyment and security.....

A while back, I was looking around Ehrenberg (Just north of the I-10 bridge). If I ever have money, I think that's where I'd be.

Gord,

Look into Willow Valley. Gil has a place there, I'm in the process of getting one, it's a great community, private marina, DEEDED land & close to everything but a world away...

Gord, Tony (Aquaholic here on the boards, has a really nice 5th wheel trailer he wants to sell. It is at Blythe at Mcintyre park. Has a shed, big slab and awning, and I believe the rent there is 250 a month.

Also there is a thread on here that has pictures also. I really wanted it, but I could swing the payments but not the rent :banghead: :banghead:

I have got a place in Blythe at Mcintyre park for sale. That part of the river is the best in my opinion. The park is not indian land and it is the only park ihave seen on the river that is all grass. So your feet dont get burnt all the damn time.

anyway if you go to the real estate section on here there aresome pics of my place. I am willing to deal on it or even trade if you have something fun.

My wife and i live almost 6 hours away so we cant go as much as we used to. So we have to get rid of the trailer. Have had it for like 4 years and the people in the park are like my 2nd family.

let me know if you are interested
