If you have to go with a modern style seat like the seats above I would go with the first one.

Did you find a trailer yet? What's up with the trailer you got in the picture?  Inquiring minds (term used loosely) want to know...   ;D

Nothing wrong with that trailer. I know where there is a nice Hondo flatty just waiting for this 454 in my garage but the trailer it's on really sux. Not that much to choose from out there as far as seats go.

The fiberglass shell bucket seats are available from more sources than you could count. Where are you located?

Any shop that deals in dragboats should have them or point you to a shop that does. Off the top of my head, I'd check with Jim Brock at Cyclone Speed and Marine(in Pacoima, I think), Dan Aaseth at Canyon Marine in Newhall(ad at Dragboats.com, $85/each), maybe PM Cyclone or CS19 on HotBoat for leads since they seem to be at the front of the young dragracers these days, Prime Marine(somewhere in SoCal) does a lot of v-drive work and should be able to help you. I think Nucking Futz on HotBoat makes them, also.

Where ever you get the shells, they will still need to be upholstered. Try to use someone who has done them before as they will likely have a pattern, making the job easier, better looking and possibly less expensive.

You and the little lady could fit into one's like I have . No doubt that the price for the seat is pretty good but the covers are whats gonna getcha . I had four in my boat and that ran me almost $1500 just for the seats when it was all said and done . The ease of yanking everything when you store it was worth every dime .

I'm in vegas. I do have the stock Sanger interior, it needs to be redone, but I'd like to have some buckets and I'll have the stock stuff done also.

If you're talking about going to Brad's house as being gay you may be right.   :D

If you're talking about your existing seats being gay, step back, take a deep breath, and tell me if you see anything on your boat that's gay! Hell no!   ;D
