Title: Who got their tax refund?
Post by: Brad @ SCJB on May 10, 2008, 09:58:04 AM: I'm not talkin about the yearly one....im talkin about the one where its supposed to 'stimulate' the economy.

I woke up this morning to my bank account $600 fatter....direct deposited! It was a nice surprise!

I still say if loaning ourselves 600.00 per taxpayer is good for the economy then 6000.00 would have been even better. Anytime the Repubicans and Demacrats get together and pass something in a couple of weeks you know were going to end up paying for it for a lifetime.

Aren't they encouraging us to take money that we originally paid as taxes, and instead of keeping it in savings, they want us to be irresponsible and spend it immediately on something we otherwise would not have bought, so local/fed govt. can just get it back in taxes again. Big waste of energy. I suggest they just let me keep my taxes in the first place. :screwy:

Direct Deposit: Depending on the last two numbers of your Social Security Number, your rebate should be deposited by:

00-20: May 2
21-75: May 9
76-99: May 16

By Mail: Depending on the last two numbers of your Social Security Number, your rebate check should be mailed by:

00-09: May 16
10-18: May 23
19-25: May 30
26-38: June 6
39-51: June 13
52-63: June 20
64-75: June 27
76-87: July 4
88-99: July 11
