i feel ya i need new sway bar bushings for my truck so i order them online.

I get a set that dont fit. They will return them but i am responsible for shipping and a restocking fee. Parts were only 30 bucks so whats the point.

I go to energy suspensions web site and order the same bushing for the same truck. I get a completly different bushing set but guess what. they dont fit either. I can return them but i am on the hook for shipping and restocking fee. So whats the point. So now i have spent near 80$ and have a bunch of poly bushings that i cant use.

yesterday i go to my go to guy for my parts that are hard to find and he is now ordering me a set. We will see if they are the right ones. But at least now if they are not he can return them and get the correct onces without me paying for it.

Customer service is not completely dead but mail order will alway suck.  Last week we took the boat up to a lake in northern Nevada.  Lost a trailer wheel bearing halfway there in Big Pine, CA.   I walked into the NAPA store and told the guy my story.  He says "tools are in the back. Take whatever you need and let me know if you need any help."  Bearings he got on the first try, but the seal to more work.  He was giving me new parts to walk out of the store with to fit on my spindle.  When they didn't fit, he wipes off the grease and puts them back in the box no questions asked.

2 hours later he had a case of silver bullets chilling in the refer in the back for quittin' time.   I love small town America.

Just got seals at napa, $9 each. Got a kit off internet, both bearings, races and seals for $12, but two seals were different on the no brake axel. I guess when yer on the road ya gotta do what ya gotta do. I took the best old bearing and thru it in the boat box. Could get me or someone else home someday.
