Title: Why do people think 100+ is easy?

why do people think there boat go faster than the do? Also why do 95% of the jet boats go 100+ (that a load of crap) :banghead: :banghead:

He would need like 800+ hp to get into the 90, not just a mild built 509

sh!t, mine go 145mph in the 1/8 mile and that's with only one motor on  :screwy:

I should call the guy and tell me if the boat does go 100+, Then for every mph under 101 he drops  1,000 off (cheap) 5k ;D ;D

I saw that boat at martinez last weekend and I dident see him hauling ass at all! Maybe a 85mph pass but that was it!

I saw a 496 for sale that had 710 HP and ran on pump gas. 710 HP will get that boat into the 90's. There isn't any info on that 509 ci Chevy, for all we know it has 16:1 compression, runs on alcohol, has a huge cam, and twin turbo's. It is very possible that the boat does over a 100 mph with the info given in the listing. As far as the guy only doing 85 mph passes, maybe he's scaired?  ???  I probably will be too, if and when I ever get there.

I still have mine that goes 100 no problem and its a v6
