This is dumb. The people in it are morons. I dont know all the facts, but it seems like a guy has been a dead beat on his land lease for 30 years and they have created conspiracy theory's that the feds are trying to muscle them out. All of that is mute as to that I saw in the video. The video shows a bunch of buffoons going about what they are trying to defend in a very moronic manner.
The rangers or BLM that you called bullys are probably nice dudes who have families and were sent there to do a job. Things escalated quickly and I give them kudos to them backing down and leaving before escalating it any further. Things could have been MUCH uglier. The crowd cheering when the cops left just shows how ignorant they are. They didnt win, they just got lucky.
I have zero sympathy for the people in the video getting tased. The crowd was ordered to move and back down and they did not comply. They actually moved forward towards the cops. Just like you have every right to bare arms to defend yourself, they have every right to defend themselves as well. The cops dont know these people. They dont know who is or isnt armed. If I was them, I'd be scared shitless in that situation. I dont blame them one bit for their actions. They were only holding their ground and trying to keep order with a screaming mob of people in their face invading their personal space.
The people in the crowd are pathetic and I am offended they even call themselves Americans. One lady got up in a cops face and screams "im pregnant". WTF does that have to do with anything? Why are you even there putting your unborn child in danger? YOU make me SICK! Then the other lady who got her pants dirty whining she has cancer and 11 kids to the liberal media news cameras.....cry me a river. Both of those ladies put themselves in that situation. What I saw was the crowd was the aggressors, not the cops.
I vote republican and I was raised to respect authority. But what I saw here was not people standing up for their rights, it was a crowd of people trying to play some BS off to the liberal and social media for sympathy with lots of bad acting.

These men bought and paid for their rights to the range and also built waters, fences and roads to assure the servival of their cattle, all with their own money, not with tax dollars.
These rights to the land use is called preemptive rights.
Some where down the line, to keep the cows from over grazing, came the bureau of land management. They were supposed to assist the ranchers in the management of their ranges while the ranchers paid a yearly allotment which was to be use to pay the BLM wages and to help with repaires and improvements of the ranches.
My dad did pay his grazing fees for years to the BLM until they were no longer using his fees to help him and to improve.
Instead they began using these money's against the ranchers.
They bought all the rest of the ranchers in the area out with they're own grazing fees.
When they offered to buy my dad out for a penence he said no thanks and then fired them because they weren't doing their job.
He quit paying the BLM but, tried giving his grazing fees to the county, which they turned down.
So my dad just went on running his ranch and making his own improvements with his own equipment and his own money, not taxes.
In essence the BLM was managing my dad out of business.
Well when buying him out didn't work, they used the indangered species card.
You've already heard about the desert tortis.
Well that didn't work either, so then began the threats and the court orders, which my dad has proven to be unlawful for all these years.
Now their desperate.
It's come down to buying the brand inspector off and threatening the County Sheriff.
Everything their doing at this point is illegal and totally against the constitution of the United States of America.
Now you may be saying," how sad, but what does this have to do with me?" Well, I'll tell you.
They will get rid of Cliven Bundy, the last man standing on the Bunkerville allotment and then they will close all the roads so no one can ever go on it again.
Next, it's Utah's turn. Mark my words, Utah is next.

If this was an illegal that was squatting on the land, the feds would leave em alone. Your must earn respect not expect authority. How many people in years past had to fight for what is right. My view is strictly based on the info provided.
To think that someone with this much at stake and taking such drastic measures seems a little more believable since the government only goes after what they want.
They must want something real bad to not even have the police show up.
The dramatics was kind of lame but kudos to them for standing their ground.
You would have just as hard a time taking my families land from me as well.

Well put Brad. People really don't understand what law enforcement has to go through on a daily basis. You guys were not there and can't completely comment on what led to the incident. And I am not saying I agree or disagree with what the Feds did. Yes there are shit bags in the profession that shouldn't hold that position but most of us are fun loving guys/gals that respect laws ourselves and treat people with respect. Some people talk shit and question authority but when THEY need help they are the first people to call us which is completely funny but hey we still respond and help them out to the best of our abilities and treat them respectfully!!!

I'll put myself out there and say yeah I work as a law enforcement officer and I personally hold myself to a higher standard and some guys on here can vouch for that. Sorry you have a bad taste in your mouth for previous encounters with the LAW but I don't appreciate you thinking we are all the same cause we are not. I have a family and the people I serve in my community are treated exactly like I treat my family!!!

Everyone can't be as awesome as myself so let's all agree to disagree. There are 2 sides to every story and now I'm hearing harry Reid's son works for a Chinese solar company who wants to build a solar power plant there. The freakin Chinese.....what is this country coming to. A big empty state like that and they want fit there?

There have been a lot of people criticizing Clive Bundy because he did not pay his grazing fees for 20 years. The public is also probably wondering why so many other cowboys are supporting Mr. Bundy even though they paid their fees and Clive did not. What you people probably do not realize is that on every rancher's grazing permit it says the following: "You are authorized to make grazing use of the lands, under the jurisdiction of the Bureau of Land Management and covered by this grazing permit, upon your acceptance of the terms and conditions of this grazing permit and payment of grazing fees when due." The "mandatory" terms and conditions go on to list the allotment, the number and kind of livestock to be grazed, when the permit begins and ends, the number of active or suspended AUMs (animal units per month), etc. The terms and conditions also list specific requirements such as where salt or mineral supplements can be located, maximum allowable use of forage levels (40% of annual growth), etc., and include a lot more stringent policies that must be adhered to. Every rancher must sign this "contract" agreeing to abide by the TERMS AND CONDITIONS before he or she can make payment. In the early 90s, the BLM went on a frenzy and drastically cut almost every rancher's permit because of this desert tortoise issue, even though all of us ranchers knew that cow and desert tortoise had co-existed for a hundred+ years. As an example, a family friend had his permit cut by 90%. For those of you who are non ranchers, that would be equated to getting your paycheck cut 90%. In 1976 there were approximately 52 ranching permittees in this area of Nevada. Presently, there are 3. Most of these people lost their livelihoods because of the actions of the BLM. Clive Bundy was one of these people who received extremely unfair and unreasonable TERMS AND CONDITIONS. Keep in mind that Mr. Bundy was required to sign this contract before he was allowed to pay. Had Clive signed on the dotted line, he would have, in essence, signed his very livelihood away. And so Mr. Bundy took a stand, not only for himself, but for all of us. He refused to be destroyed by a tyrannical federal entity and to have his American liberties and freedoms taken away. Also keep in mind that all ranchers financially paid dearly for the forage rights those permits allow - - not rights to the land, but rights to use the forage that grows on that land. Many of these AUMS are water based, meaning that the rancher also has a vested right (state owned, not federal) to the waters that adjoin the lands and allow the livestock to drink. These water rights were also purchased at a great price. If a rancher cannot show beneficial use of the water (he must have the appropriate number of livestock that drinks and uses that water), then he loses that water right. Usually water rights and forage rights go hand in hand. Contrary to what the BLM is telling you, they NEVER compensate a rancher for the AUMs they take away. Most times, they tell ranchers that their AUMS are "suspended," but not removed. Unfortunately, my family has thousands of "suspended" AUMs that will probably never be returned. And so, even though these ranchers throughout the course of a hundred years invested thousands(and perhaps millions) of dollars and sacrificed along the way to obtain these rights through purchase from others, at a whim the government can take everything away with the stroke of a pen. This is the very thing that Clive Bundy singlehandedly took a stand against. Thank you, Clive, from a rancher who considers you a hero.

But its doesn't mean all the "5-0s" are bad people. cops have to follow procedure and/also must use discretion when making on the spot decisions.
Your mom, the other thing, which im sure your aware of, is government take overs...did you know that "TYSON" controls over 90% of the nations meat products? any meat...cow, chicken, pig, horse, eel, the list goes on...
look at walmart, costco, tyson, mcdonalds, obama..all perfect examples of government takeovers...
I feel bad for the ranchers...it sucks that the only way a person can get heard now a days(by the way a bill was just passed by the supreme court supporting "FAT CAT lobbiest") is by the size of your wallet. If your not supported by the government these days and surcome to the governments needs, the gov will snuff you out. Small business is effected the largest of ways. this country was started by small business and everyday one of those samll companies get shut down because they cant afford the taxes..but yet the gov can bail out a failing car company that put millions of lives in danger(GM recalls..)..in my humble opinion, if ALL of america was run by small business, stop holding the worlds hand, and focus on the problems on our HOME turf, then we could all be happier..okay enough of that tangent..

Well here's a good reason...
The Bureau of Land Management has announced it would not enforce a court order to remove Cliven Bundy’s cattle and was pulling out of the area., defusing the nearly week-long siege on the Nevada ranch.
The BLM made the announcement Saturday morning, a week after rangers started gathering the animals from land near Gold Butte.
The agency says it is “concerned about the safety of its employees and the public”. Earlier this week, BLM officers with attack dogs and supporters of the Bundy family were involved in a nasty confrontation. Cliven Bundy’s son, Ammon Bundy, was tased twice by federal agents. A pregnant woman was also thrown to the ground by an officer.
This stand down order is happening with curious rapidity after a website exposed the possible inside dealing between Nevada Senator and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, his son Rory, and a Chinese company in order to make a $5 billion deal for a massive solar farm on a portion of the Bundy Ranch.
