We got no idea how his boat got here but unless the water level comes up it's not going to be moving
any time soon.
-
What the FUK happened there?! Where did this take place? Leave it to them damn Jetboaters!:)
-
Found it out at lake mead today as your leaving callville bay it's way up on the beach off to your right side.
What a shame to leave such a nice nordic out there to be pillaged.
-
Beutifull boat. :'(
-
need parts???
-
I woulda tied a ski rope to it, pulled it off the beach, and declaired it as a recovered vessle which was abandoned.
did it look like it had been there for a long time?
-
someone tried that already a tow strap was hooked to the front.
it looked as though if you had a key it would have fired right up it was real clean.
-
a couple of 6foot digging bars some good rope, if it had a ford in it i would be missing work tomarrow to check on salvage rights.
-
Nope had a chev 454 and a nice one it's a pass x block not a truck block.
you may be able to see the eng in this pic.
-
oops!
-
Their can't be something right about that beautiful boat just sitting there.

I was leaning more towards something not right with everyone's first thought of wanting salvage rights on the boat. ???
-
So, What happened to it?
-
So thats how you park a squirt boat......... ;D O0
-
That thing is real clean ! I hope it makes it home OK . You should all be ashamed of yourselves for even talkin about desicrating such a beautifull thing . There is no way I would have left it out there if it were mine .

and so far away in the others. I've got news for ya.... I'd be out there with a shovel digging a trench to the boat to float it again.
-
Photoshop?
-
Yes it does happen alot here on the river, people forget about the water going down at night. But chances are that boat was probably stolen, ditched and were going back later to strip it or bring it in at night ???
But then again who knows

kind of the same thing happened to my father and me at apache lake about 8yrs ago (before he passed), we tied our 28" pontoon sideways to the beach, water went down over night, thougt no big deal it always comes back up during the day, 4 days later the boat was 12-15 off the waters edge, had to leave dad there (i had to go back to work), he dug trenches, used wood and his old 79 ford f250 4x4 and pushed the sum bitch back into the water, took him about 3 days to get it back into the water ( i think he was drinking and fishing more than anything), i have some pics someplace, i'll try to find them and put them up
-
Go get them emblems 80 Nordic!!!!!!!!!! LOL sumthin seems fishy to me about that boat being there like that
-

All kidding aside, sure a shame to see such a beautiful boat sitting on the rocks... Owner might want to rename the boat Scotch :D

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that a few buddies probably did that just for shits and giggles . Roost was right , in one pic the boat is like 5 feet from the water line and then the rest it's like 20-30 feet. Not to mention in one pic the boat is sitting up perfectly and absolutly no damage to the bottom so it's not like as the water went dont the boat would have rocked a few times dingin the bottom a few times . Notice what perfect condition the boat is in too.
