Ya know.....I'm gonna be 47 this year in July (4th) and I have been goin' to the River since I was 19.We have had some Great,Great times!
Boatin' and Partyin'!
In ALL OF THOSE years I have never had a negative incident,No accident's,no one hurt and NEVER an incident with Police,and let me tell you,we used to party ON the boat as much as we did OFF of the boat!
BUT we ALWAYS did "responsibly"! Anyway,my Babygirl (daughter) who will be 21 in October and has a Great head on her shoulders(She doesnt drink,Thank God!) will be going to the river this weekend and I gotta tell ya...with all the horror stories and stuff....I actually worry about her! But I will not take it away from her,instead,I just try to instill in her the knowledge I had when I was goin' at her age. HAVE FUN,BE SAFE AND NOT ONLY WATCH OUT FOR YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS BUT WATCH OUT FOR THE OTHER GUY!! BUT MOST OF ALL....HAVE FUN!!!! Any comment?
I myself would be goin too...but dammit,I gotta work saturday and also,I have been goin' for so many years,I dont like to fight the crowds anymore. My Dad lives down there so i can go anytime and I prefer to go on the off weekends where I can actually use my "low to the water" boat and have fun!!!
