I will be heading out to Parker Strip for the 1st trip this year and staying at Buckskin Mountain State Park this weekend the 28,29,30. Weather is looking nice, it should be in the mid 80's and I'm more than ready to have some fun out there and do some hot rodding on the river, eating good food and of course drinking some beer!,, 8). If anyone is also interested or planning on being out there drop me a line.

First trip this year... Why the delay?

I pulled out the engine in Jan. and changed a few things and then ran it on the engine dyno. Had been out to Lake Elsinore to dial a few things in before the four hour drive to Parker, just to make sure all is good. I was out there for Thanksgiving weekend and it was nice, but I actually like the weather to be a bit warmer than the 70's. During the spring/summer and fall I like to make it out there once or twice a month, but I also drag race and we only can go in between race events.

Had a great time this weekend at Parker, stayed at Buckskin, weather was nice, in the mid 80's and very minimal people out there. Boat performed wonderful, went through 24 gallons of fuel. Thinking about going back out Easter weekend and staying at River Island or Buckskin again.

24 gals of fuel, that's quite a bit of boatin'.
Glad to hear you had a good time.
