Post by: 1975_Challenger_461 on July 07, 2013, 11:46:44 AM
Hurting for ideas fellas. I blew my engine yesterday and I'm supposed to be meeting my parents in the middle of lake powell on wednesday. I have to get my chit running! Looking for a short block or something cheap since I'm unemployed. Call or text me at 801-792-2192 if you have any parts or ideas. Thanks guys.

What did you hurt?

I have a cast crank and rods and some .030" flat top pistons here... Not much help, but maybe....

Gotta pull the heads off today but there are chunks of metal in my valley. Blew a head gasket and bent a pushrod. I'll have it off in a an hour or so. Is that assembly already balanced? Also, it's a gen 5 block. (One piece rear main)

The crank I have is a gen IV.

You failed to mention the Gen V thing....

You may have dropped a valve...
