firefly: Is Echo Lodge still at Parker? I mean, I'm sure it's there but is it still called Echo Lodge?
We used to go there all the time in the 80's and camp on the beach.

My Memorial will be in Farmington, NM and Durango, CO; have a niece graduating high school.

DITTO

If memory serves (and it may not because I party'ed a lot back then): Echo Lodge is/was north of the old Sundance (which I hear is closed); just before a bend in the river where, on the AZ side, was a fueling dock and store; it was opposite that on the CA side (before the bend); ran along the beach a ways. Was a cool spot (if you camp).

Have a great weekend!

I'll be at Fiesta Island/Mission Bay.

Change of plans. The fam and I are going to rough it, tent style, at either Senator's Wash or Lake Martinez WITH THE OUTBOARD   >:D  >:D   ???   :-\   :D  We'd take the motorhome but it's still running on two of four barrels plus it's still water logged from all the rain we had months ago.   :D

I don't have a clue where I'll be. Hopefully the river between Laughlin and the London bridge. Might have to settle for Mead. I love watchin the prop boats trrying to launch at Hemmingway. If I do Mead I'll be at Sandy Beach and Wishing Well.

Rod , it's not like there is a shortage of carbs laying around , throw the one off your boat on for the weekend.

Yeah I know. Motorhome is spreadboare, Holley is squarebore, sold the adaptor on eBay. But what's the point? Gen still doesn't work meaning no A/C? I'm going to look at it's carb tonight anyway. The only time I looked at it was in the desert in like 50000 mph winds...   :D  The hitch on it though says it's only good for 2,000 llbs, the boat and trailer have to be more heavier than that...   ???

Dont go to Hemminway, sat and watched prop after prop get destroyed, have sucked up rocks in Lake Mead marina too which is half closed right now....try Calville Bay, right around the corner from Sandy Beach.

******* A!!!! I got the strap-on boat's original 20 gallaon gas tank to work, that means I won't have to carry 4  6 gallon gas cans on the boat's floor the whole time.   ;D  I am a little concerned though, in that 20 gallons of gas is about a 1/2 gallon of water, any suggestions on fuel additives?

******* A!!!! I got the motorhomes carb to work. I got all 4 barrels working now instead of just the two little primary barrles only working. And the choke still works (barely). For a '29 foot motorhome this thing hauls butt! I am a little concerned though about the motorhome's hitch. It says a max of 200 lb tongue weight with a max gross trailer weight of 2000 lbs, I believe the tongue weight to be under 200 lbs but I think I am probably over on the max gross trailer weight. How much over? I have no idea. 1984 18' fiberglass hull Starcraft open bow with a 75 HP electric trim and tilt on it. Anybody out there have a clue how much this thing weighs and should I worry about it so much?

THANKS!   ;D

I'm heading for Emerald Cove Friday evening.  My wife will already be there with the the a/c running and the Hondo waiting.  If anybody is going to be around come on by and check out the new ride (77 Hondo T-deck with original tan/orange gel coat :o).
