I’m looking to hit the river to
See what my boat will actually do this weekend. The lakes around Phoenix just aren’t what I need for a 19’ flat bottom to get it’s top speed. 89mph is best I can do before I almost kill myself. Can anyone recommend a place to camp or hang out on the river? Any party spots etc? And I say Parker but if there’s a better place to start lemme know. Like can I go
From Parker to avi on water if not is Laughlin my only other choose etc

You could go to Blythe just have to make sure the water is up. On a off weekend you will have the river to yourself in some spots.

I take my flatty to big river, it's about 10 minutes from parker,on the ca side , usually pretty mellow on non holiday weekends.

I run mine on Parker all the time, I will be out there next weekend actually with it. Fox’s is a great place to party and run, water is horrible during the day unless you have a heavy boat, water is pretty good around castle rock up river but current is fast. Aqua knows the lower river better then me, I’m to worried about taken the running gear off of my boat, hit me up if you go tout Parker I will run around with you.

I’ll be leaving Phoenix this Sunday morning and be camping Sunday night....running the river hopefully two days....I’d enjoy the company. There will be four of us.

Monday and Tuesday, you should be good for Parker. On the weekends you have to watch out for the wake boats. And everyone else for that matter.
You will probably see a few other flats out there in the morning time. Buckskin on the AZ side is a good place for camping.

You can’t make it to the Avi or Laughlin on the water from Parker. There is a dam in the way. You can launch on the other side of the dam at Havasu Springs and go up to Laughlin. But that is a LOOONNGGG ride! Especially in a flat.
You can tow down to Big River, launch and go almost to Blythe. Nice shallow stretch of the river. Like it was mentioned, make sure the water is up.
Be safe and remember, We like pictures.
