Well I'm finally back. I got a lot of pics of many boats and will be posting as soon as I can get them resized.
Had a great time, glad to meet some new people and see the rest of you guys again.
Can't wait to do it again.

sunday morning the water was like glass, so we decided to run to the dam and have some doughnuts. i have a vid i will post it when i get home.

a great time indeed. as far as i know it was a very uneventful event. no one broke down or anything....even the 'award' wasnt presented to anyone.
i got out there late thursday night and got on the water around 9ish.....friday was good fun...nice and relaxing...not too busy.....saturday was a ZOO. water was so rough.....rivertard, jeremy and myself all headed down to big river in search for some better water and we found it. it was my first time at big river and i loved it. I am not a big fan of crowded waters. Driving on the strip is nerve racking not to mention VERY hard on the boat.
Friday night was a riot hangin out with rivertard (aka happy feet)....hes a dancin machine....also, lets not forget about the texas break dancer.....satruday night was a bit more low key....started off at the bridge inn hangin out in the parking lot drinkin beers with omar, mar, boost, glasscutter, nick etc....boost was instructing us all on how to propperly check your clearances and grease your loader bearing. After that we headed over to the bluewater for more drinks....hung out with coors heavy and his buds over there.
Sunday nick and i headed up to the sand bar across from the sundance and hung out there for a bit then went up to the dam to try to float for a bit. the water got too rough and almost got swamped a few times so we headed back down and hung out across from the bluewater for a few hours. I forgot my camera in my truck on sunday so i didnt get any pics from sunday....nick got a few so maybe he will post them later.
i got off the water around 4 yesterday and headed home.....i was so tired i had to stop off in indio and sleep a couple hours at a truck stop. i figured it was the safest thing to do rather then fighting it. its always a loosing battle when fighting off the knods.
so whens the next bash?!

go ahead and tie me to the whippin post, :'( , i didnt take any pictures at all :banghead:
i wanted to get on the water as soon as possible, had to wrangle up the girls and so forth, i took the camera but it never made it to the boat..so sorry guys, ......we got into town a litttle later thursday then i really wanted but, i didnt rush so i could relax, finished up all my stereo change over about 10:30 thursday morning from being up untill 12:30 that morning...then started packing to go.....left about 1:30 thursday, had a late lunch in needles and then cruised into town for fuel and beer/food for the next few days.....we launched after the marina closed( he he didnt have to pay) and then went to the pool and slide ...kids had a great time there...had a great time friday crusin and floating hanging with everybody, replaced both batteries saturday a/m (i think i over charged them at home) now the tunes sound great and boat starts better..saturday was good too, even went out a little sunday, and went back to the pool and slide with the kids...got home about 8:00pm last night, boy did i sleep good last night, but sucked wakeing up and having to go to work today.....just never seems long enough........even before we go to parker my wife askes ( whens the next "no kids" river trip) i say well hunny i think in july.. ;D ;D the kids already got to her before we ended up in parker....so ill see everybody in july @ the AVI 8)

In retrospect and after Mike gave me shit at dinner , Parker was a better place to hang out than the Avi in my opinion . The boating aspect could have been better planned and the other location was my first choice . Learning curve I guess . I just hope everyone had a good time .
The pictures are awsome guys keep them coming .

LOL....my oldest kid kept scuba diving and picking up those fresh water clam shells and put them all over coorsheavy's day cruiser @ the sandbar across from the blue water, im sure he didnt get past the fish and game police going back into california with those barnicles all over....
yes the zebra mulisk does suck, but it was funny when she did it!

Hey Ralph nice Video, I love the glass. When Im at Park Moabi im usually one of the first up to get an hour or so of that. So nice for us freeboard challenged boaters. ;D

i got some video from the bow mounted camera from big river saturday and the parker chop on sunday....im gunna try to put it together with some music cuz the audio is all distorted on some of the runs, but i got it figured out.

What time was that video on Sunday Ralph? I made the same run around 2pm and while MUCH better than Saturday it was still very rough. I'll post some pics I took later tonight.
We had a good time also, the rough water on Saturday was a bit much for my family but it was nice to meet all of you and I hope I get the chance to go to another "unofficial" outing O0

Yeah, Jealouse too , Half those houses on the river are empty, summer/vacation holmes ;)

ONCE AGAIN I HAD A GREAT TIME HANGING OUT WITH EVERYONE. AND IT WAS GOOD TO MEET SOME NEW FACES AND SEE THE OLD ONES. BY THE WAY THANKS TO CHROMEY AND THE SCUBA QUEEN, I GOT STOPED AT THE CHECK POINT WHEN THEY SAW THE SHELLS PILED UP ON THE BOAT. NEEDLESS TO SAY THEY GIVE A RECTAL EXAM WHEN THERE ARE OVER FOUR SHELLS ON BOARD. ;D CANT WAIT TILL JULY AT THE AVI TO SEE YOU ALL AGAIN.

had some minor issues, oil leaks, starter , msd box went out, all fixable stuff and as the wife taught me "it's just a boat", seemed to be running good other than the above, never got to run it hard due to a prego wife in the boat ;D, and i must say thanks to nick for the ride in his boat, because of that, once the issues are taken care of with forkedup, it will be for sale... :'(....as well as the toyhauler, one of the harleys, the quad, and moneypit.

OH YA I DON'T KNOW IF ANYONE ELSE FEELS THIS WAY. AND I HOPE IT ISN'T A SIGN OF ME GETTING OLD BUT THIS IS DAY TWO BACK FROM THE RIVER AND I AM JUST NOW FEELING BACK TO NORMAL. BUT THEN AGAIN I GOT TO PARKER THURSDAY NIGHT PARTIED TILL SUNDAY MORNING SAW THE SUN COME UP LEFT PARKER AT NOON. THEN ON THE WAY TO HAVASU TO PUT THE BOAT BACK IN STORAGE WE GOT A IDEA TO PUT THE BOAT ON THE CHANNEL TO CHECK IT OUT. AND SURE WHY NOT A COUPLE HOURS COULDNT HURT RIGHT ??? WELL WE ENDED UP GETTING OFF THE WATER AT 6PM AND FINALLY GOT HOME AT 12:30. AND YA IT WAS WORTH IT.

ok just for the record, i have not sold out yet, i still own 2 jetboats, one is probably sold (moneypit), i will be buying a prop boat (for the family), i enjoyed going up river with nick and his son, i want to be able to do that with my son, and that will not happen for a long time with forkedup, he is to small for the boat. if i can get enough $$ together without selling forkedup then i will keep it, it will be the last item to go, but i know what kind of boat i want, but hell if forkedup doesn't sell for some reason >:D then i guess i just have to keep it and buy a little lesser boat for the family ;D

i have looked at some twin outboard daytonas in the past.........and mamma was fine with them

Remember these jetboats are stepping stone to the better one's out there , Regardless of what anybody else thinks.... We have kids so we know what its like to try to put them in a little boat, and still be comfy and safe.
Its hard, but i say sell it all and pick up a bad ass boat for the family, and EVERYBODY can enjoy it for a long time ;D

Last weekend was hot but DAMN I think it is even hotter here in the I.E. this weekend. Me and the family really enjoyed meeting some of you last weekend, but I think there were many others who we never saw at all. Hopefully we will be able to get to another one soon. My boat ran worse every day until Tues. when it wouldn't run any more. We had Big River to ourselves Mon. and Tue. The kids had a blast and me and the wife got to work on eliminating our tan lines >:D The cabin got put to good use a few times and all the alcohol got used up (Gatorade/Vodka is good shit). Polished off a quart of Almond Tequila too, try some it'll change your life.
The pics are giving me fits but I will try to post some I took Sunday nite in the parking lot of the Bridge Inn

I forgot to mention my Father's Day present courtesy of the Blue Water Casino. They were running a special for $35 where they served a 22 oz and a 12 oz Prime rib (his n hers) with all the other stuff. I ate em both ;D. the waiter said he had never seen anyone do that before. I told him I have been cut off at other buffets before. Then we went back to the motel and ran into Parker's finest spending an hour and a half tearing apart some guys car. My guess was a narcotics stop but there were two or three guys video taping the whole thing real worried about Police harrassment or some BS. Is this really a problem in Parker?

I went to high school in Parker, i got to know the cops well ;D Our "in school suspension" teacher was a cops wife and was way cool. And that got me out of alot of trouble on the streets , If you were cool with them they were cool with you.....(white cops) not the injuns :screwy:
Many times when we were pulled over (every weekend) whatever was found, was never turned in ;D For such a small town, theres alot of shit going on.........
Story has it, they kept it for themselves..... This was in the 80's O0
