Title: under quarentine
Post by: uncleBOBBY on October 22, 2012, 04:15:29 PM
just to let you know, i was coming home from parker on sunday, stoped at videl junction at the check point and they said they found mussles on my anchor, they looked like little specs of mud to me. they put a little cable and tag thru the bow eye to the trailer and said im under quarentine until department of fish and game inspects my boat and releases it. im not allowed to take it out. lets see what happens from here.

i just tell them that i dont have an anchor and only use a sand spike and they just let me pass right on through. even with the day cruiser they've never asked to look inside or anything.

Drive South out of town through Parker on your way to Ehrenberg, about 10 miles down that road turn right on Agnes Wilson road, go over the River and turn left on the 95 South towards Blythe.  This route will completely eliminate the need to go through any inspections and will only add about 15 minutes onto your drive back to California and.....its way safer than towing on Rice Road.

No fish and game had to come to his house look at the anchor and also engine compartment they put a cable locking the boat to the trailer and linked it to his registration.
