Brother in law will be out that way and wants us to come on out .
We called the Tropical Inn and rooms were $29 a night (ralph)
I'm probably gonna launch out of Big Bend. (Ralph)
Anyone ??? (Ralph)

Thats the weekend of the mdr night race. ill be out the weekend before aug. 7th-10th. and tropical or tropicana?

Lol, Whatcha after Omar? A bunch of us idiots around your BIL? Hell, that might be fun! No kids though. My parents will be in town, still unsure if they're coming to Blythe or not, which would be bad enough, lol.

Not a big fan of the BIL.
Not to mention my boats not fast enough to scare him so...

OK, I get it, lol. Terry? oh Terry! Someone needs the ride of their life here! (Actually, Nick too I'm sure can accomplish that!)

From what I saw at Big River, Brad would also EASILY be able to do it with the Crazy Eights, if that's the goal, lol

After the input I got from that event, the Moo prolly would not do it, lol. (My GPS apparently doesn't read what everyone else's does........still........(did it again yesterday)........ which could very well be!)

Mdr stands for Mohave desert racing and they race alot in so cal. It's been awhile since I have raced mdr but I think the night race was last weekend but I could me wrong. Anyways the race is more than likely in lacern valley. But like I said it's been awhile.

Ya its in lucerne and its saturday the 15th we are racing it. we have a lot of work left on the truck but we made good head way last night. we should have both motor mounts and the tranny crosmember done tonight.

My parents, girlfriend, son and I and maybe a couple friends will all be out at Needles the 14th 15th 16th for my B-Day! Its the 16th! We will launch out of needles marina an be camped on the beach right next to it! Staying at the parents house but will probably hit laughlin at night!

THIS IS IT! this is what im pushing for to get the cruiser ready aug 14-16th i have some friends coming up from Torrance and they want a ride to the sand bar to check out a pair or two (  o  )(  o  ) .  :o .lol
so im working hard to get this cruiser ready....we will be staying at the avi for night time fun..

prior years we left in the morning on saturday to park moabi and launch from there and cruised to the sandbar for the day and float around the gourge...im down! and im pushing to make this happen!!! hope to see yall there!

im getting different feedback with reguards to the sand bar being open (meaning the one at the bottom of topac north of havasu)..does it depend on the weekend? or weeds?

as far as i know, its always open except holiday weekends. (memorial, labor, 4th)

well i was able to make it to the avi afterall, but not with my boat (thanks again brad)....met up with some friends there, say nick (cj222) and his pop there too , aquaholic and some of his friends there also partying it up.......saturday around 10am or so launched from miller park, an easy launch ramp in needles and cruised south to the sandbar for the afternoon, had a great spot with a lot of traffic walking by ...so we got a good view of the action hung out till around 430 and drove back up to needles ....i love cruising through the gourge awesome sceanery..and countinued to party at the avi saturday night ....awesome trip easy drive home......oh and happy belated birthday nick!

and i saw hallet dave's boat in the parking lot but not on the water

it was a "boys" trip out ....no evidence...lol fun was had by all i assure you.....even aquaholic had a good time untill his boat caught fire...im sure he'll tell you all about it.
