Hi All,
I am planning a month trip to the needles/laughlin area next year. And i was wondering if anyone knows of any campgrounds that i can book a month at a time? I would stay a week straight and then just commute out every weekend for the month. Any suggestions? Somewhere i dont have to worry about leaving the motorhome? Preferrably with a private beach/launch?
thanks
Steve

Park Moabi! Its the cheapest to rent spots on and you can leave it there hooked up.AC on,Frig on.They dont charge for hook ups just the spot. You can also inquire about a river front spot but if memory serves me I think those are weekly.

Park moabi doesn't do monthly spot rentals anymore as of last year. The owner of pirates cove bar is now managing the park and raised all the rates and changed a bunch of crap. It sucks it was a nice place to stay.

Ya the owners a joke he don't give 2 shits about the middle class. He wants the guys with the big boats and big pockets to be there not us lil guys. Last year they were walking down the beach passing out flyers saying it was $20 a day to park on the beach but you could use that $20 at the bar, restaurant, or there little store. That idea didn't last long by the next weekend they were out again passing out flyers saying it was $5 to park on the beach.
I feel bad for the ones who own a trailer in the park. He said he was going to raise the space rent as high as he could to get them out of there. Fuckin bullshit i will never spend another dollar at that place again.

BESIDES NEEDLES MARINA THERE IS ANOTHER CAMPGROUND FURTHER UP (NORTH) ON THE RIVER ABOUT 2 OR 3 MILES, NOT SURE OF THE NAME, ON THE CALIF. SIDE.

there's rainbow beach in needles that's where I grew up camping if I remember right it's between needles marina and the avi. The main reason my parents stopped going there was the owners didnt like tent camping they said It made the place look like little Tijuana so we started going to Blythe
