Pirate Cove/ Park Moabi !!!!

Anybody been to Pirate Cove/Park Moabi lately?  I love that place!  I was just there Desert Storm weekend.  Also i heard that in November Topock Bar Grill will be comletely torn down!!  They are putting in a huge Resort and Spa with 102 room Hotel, swiming pool w/ swim up bar and more stuff!  Awesome!

yes...pirate cove is pretty sweet. been there a few times on mellow weekends/week days

i saw a rendering of what topock is to become....looks pretty sweet....bummer part is that its going to bring a LOT of traffic to that part of the river which is nice the way it is now.

Ya not to stoked on the whole resort thing. we stay in golden shores alot and like that section of the river. the traffic (and river po po) up there got bad enough with pirates cove a can only imagine with the resort going in.

Sounds like it might be ripe for a bunch of obnoxiously LOUD Jet Boats to spend a weekend or two there......... >:D

ya. i stayed at the cabins in pirate cove last year. fun stuff. stopped in on desert storm weekend and was PACKED. to stay out of the busy parts just head north toward laughlin....pretty much jet boat only.  :thumbup: po po and check points will be a regular near topock though.  :-\

ill be stayin in pirate cove aug. 20-22. believe it or not they told me they only had 3 cabins left for that weekend. but i usually stick to that area for most of the summer..
