I was down there in April and remember stopping right in front of their cove, I remember there being a sign at the mouth of the cove that said "No Watercraft Private Beach"

im full of a lot of dumb questions......but any "thing" planned to do's for the "gathering" ?? or are we going to hang out @ the beach there,have cocktails and oogle over my miniday cruiser?? or we gonna cruise around or go to the sandbar...just checking, my girl wants to cruise around and stuff, of course she dosnt drink, so the hanging out on the beach oogling thing dont work for her......

Since there are some people who will be there without boats (myself included)....I think its going to be a "on your own" kinda deal...I am down for whatever whenever.

honestly, I have no desire to make plans for that weekend other then showing up. I just want to go with the flow and do what I wanna do at that moment rather then going by some plan i made up outside of that moment.

One thing I always do multiple times a day is cruise a mile or two up river and float down , knock back a few cold boat sodas . If someone has a stereo , crank it . Definatly have to go for a few swims while I'm floatin . That is all I live for

I know i posted on the other site that i suggest we meet on the beach at AVI on Friday around 11am than hang out for a bit and maybe cruze down river a bit and hang out in some coves and like Beetjet said, swim, hang out, etc. Than on Saturday morning say meet agian at 10am in front of AVI ( on the beach)and go from there. Thats what I was thinking? I think we all hang out for a bit in front of AVI on the beach, gather the posse for a bit maybe an hour or so, than drag the Klan to Lazzy Harry's for lunch and hell up and down the river for a day. Why not? As soon as we get there I wana launch and place my boat on the beach in front of AVI and wait till we get the majority of the Friday people there. On saturday we can meet out front again and do it all over.

Well with just 9 days to go, its getting closer. Remember all local guys that want to meet in Fontana at the 15 and Summit in the Target shopping center be there between 5:30am -6am on Friday morning. We will be caravaning up to AVI friday morning with a good handfull of us.

I have made a deal with AVI for a group rate. For those who have already made your reservations, PLEASE email me your full name and the dates you are staying. I now have a group rate of $84 a night. I will place your name on the list and you will get the discount.
IF you havent made reservations yet, you can call AVI and give them the CODE: GDUNN07 , this will get you the deal.

We need to have everyone do this so we are set and get the discounts. Rooms MUST BE RESERVED by July 8th at 11:59pm!!

Thanks dunn i just called them up and i got the discount. It only applies to saturday for me, i guess cause im checking in friday and leaving sunday but every lil bit helps. That means an extra 12 pack for me.

Oh on another note it doesnt look like the hawaiian will be done in time. So i have to bring out the day cruiser, and i hope im not the only one out there with a big boat. But it runs and floats so i guess its better than nothing. Well can't wait to meet everyone in person see ya guys soon.
