well based on the recent bad things taking place. i think that with as many boats not going to the blythe trip im thinking about going back to lake mojave from thrus night till sunday afternoon with my brother redsnapperslapper. anyone thinking about going?

ok well we are going to try and get a piece of the beach near katherines near the house boats towards the damn. we were just there from thursday last weekend till monday and it was nice. the water looked good didnt look to low.

i just saw this after i sent you that PM beav.....jen and i are lookin for somethin else to do....mojave is an option since its only 1.5 hours or so from vegas. we are also lookin at possibly goin to havasu. dont know yet....we'll see how it pans out.

hey brad i think i sent you a pm about laughlin. if i didnt i will do it again right now. the water looked good it didnt look to low and it was clean and not to cold. we are staying in laughlin at the pioneer. i know its not the best but hey its dirt cheap with good parking for the boats.

One of the Brewmasters at Hangar 24 just one the overall National championship last week. The "kid" is in his late 20's and scored higher on a test of brewing science, history, and theory than anyone else that took the test. I believe less than 15 people passed the test at all. It is a real big deal in the microbrewing world.
If anyone is ever in the area of Redlands, Hangar 24 is actually made at the Redlands airport. Tasty tasting goes on all the time.
What was this thread about again? Oh yeah -- all you peeps that made it out on the water today, play safe and post pics.

So....I just got home gotta get the pics on photobucket then to here...probably be tomorrows after work project...what a blast it turned out to be...weather was testy at times, but all in all pretty good weekend...oh yeah and a sea weed incident and some rocks in my impeller...it was a rough start and a rough finish with messing my foot up...

My boats oil pan leaks like the Exxon Valdeez (Improper install, I'm quite sure), gonna wait til winter to pull the engine and fix that, Josh's leaks water like the Titanic, so he uses 2 bilge pumps, Keiths wife blows up engines faster than Keith can keep up (That ones gonna haunt me), and even Terry has to be towed in from time to time (Which, I must add, every time I've heard of has been a HILARIOUS story).

I was in touch with steve all day trying to talk him into coming out on the water, and he told me he was adjusting his rocker arms...said they were loose...I'm not sure what he discovered while doing so but I don't think it could be that serious...I was kinda hoping all weekend that since he had people to boat with that he would come out n hang out, but I thought wrong...I even tried talking him into hoping in my boat and going out on the river...but I understood he had stuff to take care of...steve let us know what's up cream puff!

Yea, I run outta gas quite a bit. Always some taleban around. The ole lady just put up the pic in the house of me getting towed by the sailboat. Wasnt so funnny when the lady in the rental boat full of kids was trying to go between me and the eleminater pullung me in about fourty mile an hour.

last weekend was a lot of fun even though my boat took a shit on me on saturday it was still a blast. Im a litte sore today from the extreme tubing and brads towing skills. next time Brad ;D. Might pick up a new BB this weekend from my dads buddy and maby Ill be able to get her out again soon.

I'm ready to go again already. the ride home was kind of shitty got a flat in the middle of the f'ing desert and lost a dam moon cap :banghead: :mad: and got home around 1:30in the morning. Oh well great trip and now all I need is another set of moon caps, new tires, motor, and I'll be ready to do it again. Sure beats Elsinore ;D

i just got home....today was the best by far....launched at jack smith in needles and headed down to the sand bar....then went back up to moabi to the naked pirate for lunch....ga$$ed up then headed down to havasu through the channel then on down to copper canyon....then cruised back up to jack smith.....burned a ton of gas...threw roosts for miles...passed no more then 10 boats between topock and havasu and back. :thumbup: smoothest ive seen havasu in a long time.
