Okay, I figure a dedicated post to this coming weekend might help keep us all updated. Who all is going?! And any specific plans?
A few of us will be launching out of the Avi. I'm heading out August 1st... Hope to hang out before I deploy

we will be down in willow. About ten mins down river. Do you want to meet up? where you going to be hanging out at. we go up to back bay a lot. its about another 15 mins up river from the avi. a nice cove out of the current. maybe we can do lazys for lunch. or if you guys are going to be headed down to pirates we can always meet there as well.

I am down to cruise anywhere man. I'll be on the water Friday about 1030. What time do you guys usually get on the water at willow?

probably launch around 11. im trying to meet up with wetand reckless and hallet dave as well. we should all meet up and go down to topoc on friday before the crowds show up.

not sure. i was thinking maybe meeting them at the avi if we are going to go to lazys. but if everyone wants to take a trip down to topock maybe we should meet at willow valley or needles marina or something. we need to come up with a plan.
I am liking the idea of hitting topoc on friday. there will be less traffic. if you guys want to drive down from laughlin and meet everyone at AVi that would work for me. I can proabably be there around noon. we can all meet up at avi and then caravan down to topock for lunch.
what do you think

Since I'll be launching at the Avi, I'm down to meet there or willow. Pirates sounds like a fun cruise to me.

I spoke with Dave today, i will be getting to the river Thursday around midnight. Friday lets jam wherever your fuel allows.

i wont be getting in till late on thursday so i am out for lazys on thurs. I will try to get the willow crew together for TOPOCK on friday. (gill, marck, brad)
so where do you guys want to meet up and what time on friday? I am thinking the beach just north of the willow valley beach should be a good meeting spot. although the indians require a pass to be on the beach. We should not be there for long. Lets say meet up on that beach at around noon. and leave for topoc no later than 1pm. that will give any slackers time to arrive. We should be able to get to topock by 130.
these plans are just what i was thinking if you guys have a better idea just throw it out there. Meeting at the AVI is also a good meeting spot. I have a freind with a hallet 240 that is scared to go above the bridge in needles so we will have to meet them down river somewhere..
anyway lets have a plan before thursday.!!

My plans start Saturday morning with my brand new off the shelf wife. Im out till then. But Saturday and Sunday in for something. Like I said earlier wherever the group goes is where im going.

OK i will make the plan for Friday.
Meet at the AVI at around noon. We will gather and meet and greet until 1pm. Then we will leave the avi around 1 to head south to Topock.
we will park and eat lunch at Topock and then decided where we want to go after that. or just go our seperate ways.
Sat I will probably be headed down to pirates to hang out and watch the crazies for the day. Might head all the way down to havasu but i am not sure. If you guys want to make some plans for Sat feel free to speak up. Lets spread the word about the Friday plan. meet at avi and then lunch at topock. should be a nice little run down river. And i have not been to the new TOPOCK yet so i want to check it out. and since it is friday day there should be plenty of parking and good service.

Keep it simple. Saturday Avi noon again meet up. Like Aqua said pirates and do a little crazy watching then to topcocker. Not sure if i have the fuel to swing avi to havazoo. Sunday noon and whoevers still standing float and be hung over.

wife just told me we have to do a DMV run on friday. so if i am not at avi by 1pm. leave with out me and i will meet you either on the river on the way down or at topock.

We're good with the plan. Avi - Friday - Noon, then head to Topock and catch Bartel along the way.
Tony, bring some of those trailerhood-lums with you. I think Mark and Teresa are out.
I believe they have friends coming into Santa Clarita for the weekend.
John and Christy are coming in late Friday, but are up for Saturday shenanigans ! :beer:
Have not heard from the Vegas crew yet, I know some are going to Long Beach for the boat races.
Congratulations to Rocky and his new bride, it sounds like he's breaking her in right, ( wedding,river,party ) :thumbup:
If we can help celebrate in Laughlin, let us know.
I think there are a couple more in for Lazy Harry's as well. It's gonna be a good time. >:D Keep in touch, see you guys soon !

Actually.....its funny you mentioned that. We will be trashing Laughlin that night or is it we will be trashed in Laughlin? I'll pm whoever wants details, we will be getting married on the river and Ive thought about dropping the floater for this and beaching it right there.:o
If other floaters pulled up it would be interesting!! We will sleep/pass out in Laughlin then go get floater with hang over and stumble to Avi.

sounds good to me. I should be able to make the avi by 1pm. if not i will be real close. so just keep an eye out for my boat when you come down river. maybe even send one boat in to willow marina to see if i am launching as you guys go by. anyway see ya guys in a few days.

Im trying to find out who will be in the hood now but i have not heard much so i might only be bringing one or two boats with me. I know my neighbor mike is down to go.

Be careful for the grass! Was at Topock and Pirates last weekend. Had t pull cover and pull grass out of pump 3 times. Just idling in Pirates will clog up th pump.

Yah were not going to be out for a while. I think the new motor has a broken ring so the motor is out of the boat again. I'm dropping the motor off this weekend to get torn apart. Hope to be back on the water in a couple weeks. Miss the hood and the whole group.

Was a good trip! But pretty sure I spun a bearing yesterday. So gonna have to head back to disassemble and find out. Good thing at least heard it start knocking 15 feet from the launch ramp

Well that didn't go as planned. LOL. met one of ya at AVI on sat, then we needed some lunch so we took off to Topock as planned at 1pm. Topock by far has the best food I have tried on the river. And it has a pool that you can swim in between coctails. I will be going there many more times this summer. And get the tri tip its amazing.
Sat I did not go up to the avi cause we didn't get on the water till late. probably around 1. so I figured you guys would already be on your way to pirates. So we just motored from willow to pirates. Didn't see any of the SCJB crew at pirates and no one was answering texts. So we just continued having a good time. Meet some other friends down there and hung out till about 7pm. then headed back to willow.
Once the boat was off the water the shanannigans began!! also there was another fire in the trailer hood. Almost exactly the same spot as the big fire last month. I wonder if someone is trying to burn down the overgrowth on purpose.
anyway another great weekend in the trailerhood. My friend closed on the house right next door to mine last week. So we did some work to his place. GOt the AC up and running and the interior gutted. Also got the AC serviced and its working great. Now we just need to put some primer on the ways and drop in some new flooring. That make 3 people from ridgecrest who own houses on my street in willow valley
