i had a talk with mike this evening about whats in store....he said the evening at the bluewater was mild. my sides still hurt from laughing so hard that night. i cant wait.

Funny water maggot story (thread jack)
, one of the small block FX racers in Oregon came back to the docks after some testing and was pissed to beat all hell, threw his helmet on the ground, cussing, this f'n this and that, mother f'n SOB, bla bla bla, anyway's we thought he blew the engine or pump or something, turns out some dude on a heavily modified Sea Doo pulled up next to him while he was running flat out (like 80+) and the guy on the Sea Doo holding a video camera waved at him and passed him.

I can honestly say I have never seen anyone that pissed off in public, before or since.

My only regret is I did not get either event on video (was laghing too hard anyway).

well me,my wife and the little one set off to park moabi saturday, met up with brad, omar, hallet dave , and a few others, had a great time hanging on the beach making sand castles, and swimmin with my kid.water was a little rough, but not too bad.just kicked it on the beach and hung out , that was nice.

I am putting together another trip in Sept. if anyone is interested. I think there may be one campsite left. However, for those that just want to make a day trip out of it or stay at a hotel and drive down you are more than welcome. Here's a couple pictures.

Jerry (78Southwind) and Jeremie's (78Cole) 72 V-Drive Hallett and Omar's (Beerjet) 72 Jet Hallett........I dig this picture. I have been trying to get the Halletts together for a long time. Thanks Omar for making the trip.

This is site three's beach where we were camping. Topock's finest even showed up for the fun.

The smiles on my buddy and his wife's face says it all about this picture. A little bit of information about this boat. It's a 72 Hondo that was owned by my Buddy's dad for about the first 33 years of it's life. Infact, this was the first boat that I tried to learn how to water ski on when I was about 8 years old. When my buddy and I were in High School this boat was torn down and sat for over 20 years. My buddy had wanted to buy this boat from his dad for a long time. His dad agreed to sell it to him about 3 years ago and he restored the boat himself.

Beer drinkin took too much of my time so I didnt get to take too many pictures .

Hallett Dave recently had his mini cruiser redone
Fresh gel , new upholstery , new carpet , and I'm not sure what else . There is no way without seeing it in person , could you imagine how beautiful it came out . GORGEOUS !

Chromey and Beerjet heading down river.

The Hallett caught this trampoline heading down river at about 2:00 AM on Sunday. I think if we weren't up when this happened we might have lost the Hallett. The trampoline hit the Hallett, pulled up the anchor and sent it down river about 30' until we got to it. It sure was a trip we couldn't believe our eyes. It took four of us to get it unhooked from the Hallett and bring it to the shore.
